The best poetics to gil ratio you can get in this game, if you don't want to use the MB, is to buy the minions from Rowena's Representatives for 3 poetics each. With each minion selling for 60 gil, that's 20 gil per 1 poetic, which is over 4 times more gil you get per poetic, than using that poetic to buy say, the 660 ilevel accessories and turn them to the GC to buy Duck Bones. I calculated that buying the 660 ilevel accessories with 280 poetics, and using the 10% seals buff while giving to the GC, and then buying and selling the duck bones, only yield around 4.5 gil per poetic, instead of the 20 gil per poetic with the minion method.

If you've got your squadron levelled, the "Priority Seal Allowance" priority mission reward consumables say they give a 15% bonus as opposed to the 10% your video showed the fc buff gave. You get 10 consumables from the 50 version, and each lasts 2 hours, and if I remember correctly, you can complete 1 priority mission per week

The problem with that is they take forever to get to that point, and it's not optimal for constant flow. Making a solo FC is more sustainable in the long run and has more benefits.

if you do Wondrous Tails to raise lvl of your alt classes you are obliged to run dungeons and trials and raids etc anyway. do it unsync whenever you can and aside from the 500 poetics and exp worth half of current lvl as main reward (on the class which turns the sheet in; you can solve everything on your best/favourite class) you will also fill the inventory and armory with loot or tokens for items. now do yourself a favour and really pick those dungeons and trials etc. clean of any loot and aside from bosses also leave no treasure chest unopened. you will earn another hill of GC seals on the side and now spend them on duckbones and bathe in gil as well

please only do this if you don't want to deal with the MB. there are lots of options to buy with GC seals that will sell for more gil/GC point. since you are spending 600:350 gil ratio you're getting almost .5 gil per point and if you buy and sell mats depending on server you can get 1:1-1:3 depending on material. but if you really dont want to deal with MB at all or crafting this is a fine way to spend them.

GC mats often don't sell quickly or for a good price. It's probably server based but in my experience it's not worth the hassle. Flooding the market can happen very quickly and pricing will fluctuate wildly.

Id like to see a comparison of this vs high level desynth. At lot of gear at worst you are going to get battle demateria 2 or 3 which 2 goes for i think 250 gil and 3 goes for 500. I get 3 more often than not, then there is the clear demimateria which is 5000 gil, you can also get 2 off of one piece of gear sometimes. If you get straight crafting mats these can also sell for upwards of 500 gil each. So if you mostly got battle demimateria 3 the turtle bone method would probably outclass desynth in the long run but with the added chance of clear demimateria I feel like in the long run it will beat out turtle bones. Im not saying this to discount you though, this was very informative and seems like a really great option for people that don't have desynth leveled yet or want something less rng based.

I know eureka lockboxes have a higher chance of dropping clear 3 plus bunny chests. Coil especially bahamut has a high chance of dropping battle 3's in under 30 seconds. So those have alternative methods.

@@ZaneLionhartffxiv its not that the missions are particularly hard it when you start off, theres literally no intuitive way to tell the player how things work. it was like two weeks before i figured out how to sell stuff on the market because of the wierd retainer system. i came from ffxi which is much more straight forward with stuff.

Hey Zane, great video. One thing that I'm not sure if you mentioned but every weekly reset, shouldn't you set 40 duck bones aside and donate them to the Doman Enclave so you get more gil from them? Tell me if I'm wrong but I thought it gives you a bit more gil for that batch versus just the vendor.

Technically it's the enclaves money you're getting through the gratuity rate increase. Without the gratuity rate it would take a butt load of items to get the gil it provides. But yeah it's a good idea to set aside for the enclave.

On my server they are going for 390 gil. A stack of 99 is less than what the bones would give. But it would depend on the server and demand. The bones take the hassle away and no one can ruin your profits.

Sold to the vendors regardless of expansion. those will never be better turned into the grand company even with the seal buff for gil. Only turn them in if you're going for ventures or something else.

17,604 from body leg parts every 18 kills. 25,920 for accessories from duck bones every 18 runs. So 43,524 total in roughly 6 to 7ish minutes. But I could be off since math isn't my Forte.

If both of our math is correct then you are earning at around double the rate of what im able to make, so i wonder if i need to gear up more or level a harder hitting job than my 714iL reaper. In Alexander, 1 kill takes 40 seconds, so i reach a rate of 4433 gil per minute. In Omega, 1 kill takes me 1 minute 20 seconds, which only is 3132 a minute. I was told that mindlessly grinding for only 265k gil an hour is not worth it at all, but the 435k you seem to be able to make (if the math is correct) sounds a lot better.

So 'this' will not get you Instance Banned for the day like your Alexander Video would've (it's an anti-bot auto-ban... if anyone is going to go attempt that, make sure you are NOT going to do anything else in Instances for the day). Mentor you can only queue into as a max level so that will never give Poetics (From the Roulette Bonus, if you land in Shiva Extreme... ofc that'll give you Poetics) Poetic Farming is easiest with a full group of BLU's destroying Aetherochemical Research Facility in about 8-10 minutes Synched because it gives 150 Tomestones each run... which you could run 2-3 in the time it takes to run one High-Level/60-70-80-90 Roulette.

If you're going for an ARR relic in a single day, you can easily hit your instance limit by spamming aurum vale over and over for light. Not that I've ever done that myself >.>

You don't get instance banned from raids. I've ran Alexander literally hundreds of times in the same day, several hours worth 34 second kill times. You get instance banned from too many dungeons. The only time you'd get blocked from something like Alexander is if you manage to hit the instance limit somewhere else that actually counts towards it.

You can buy "Thavnairian Horsetail" and "Alchemical Charcoal" for 10 Poetics each. Depending on market price this should be the better choice. For 280 poetic stones you can get one accessory. 1 x (1995 x 1.1) = (2194.5 / 600) x 360 = 1316.7 gil. Also you can get 28 x "Thavnairian Horsetail" or "Alchemical Charcoal". They have to sell on the market board for around 50 or more gil to be more lucrative. ((1316.7 / 28) x 1,05 max for tax) And to be honest, on my server i have never seen them drop under 70 gil for charcoal. In most cases the horsetail was always over 120 gil but sells less. Let me now if i've done a mistake =)
