That was the last AC game I played and my god I still feel insulted as a gamer that they would release that in the same month as RDR2. Again it comes down to preference but anyone who says it’s the “worst” ac game or that “you were offended by it” clearly did not actually play it. combat is good you just werent playing on hardest difficulty. it says in the guide book you have to cover your controller in olive oil and invert the controls for a truly challenging and satisfying experience. hope this helps.

Jokes aside, when playing in the hardest difficulty the enemies no longer get "killable" after only one parry, it's WAY better and combat against several guys become more challenging. It's pretty sad to only get an interesting gameplay by switching up difficulty but it's also sad to see ppl talk shit about "combat too easy wtf" when there's a simple solution to it.

@@bacon8686 I played unity. probably the most glitchy AC. Revelations was fine. AC3 took ages to start being fun. AC1 and AC2 were incredibly innovative and unique games when they came out. I'd just climb around and assassinate random guards for fun. Today AC games throws you an endless open world full of mind-numbing repetitive content. Main missions are full of boring trailing missions where NPCs move at the speed of turtles. Even the stories suck. Altair's and Ezio's stories were great so they kept doing the same thing over and over. Either your mentor turns insane and assassins start infighting or a templar kills your loved ones so you go full revenge. Same thing over and over again. The only thing I appreciated was when they tried to revamp the whole combat system but I was already burned out on AC games by then. Also the AC games are just WAY TOO EASY. You don't need to sneak or use all those fancy gadgets most of the time. At this day and age if you actually wanna play a good AC-style game, just play Shadow of Mordor instead. They did AC better than AC and nobody managed to top them.

What more ya'll OG AC fans want. The story is now actually based on an assassin's story/journey, Much more parkour and traversal opportunities added, they've even bought back eavesdropping and the multiple ways to assassinate a target. You don't like the game because it hasn't gone back to the roots as much as you wanted? Okay. Finding petty reasons to hate on it? Just unnecessary. I'm tired of AC fans making the same comment on how they ruined the game because of the teleporting chain assassination, it's such a minor thing to point out and is canon to the storyline anyways since it's due to a glitch in the animus. Even coming down to the combat, the AC fans complain about the combat being clunky, hard, unpredictable. What they fail to realise is thats the games way of ENCOURAGING you to use stealth, so that you avoid getting yourself into situations where you're outnumbered; Also did ya'll not want more options for stealth? It baffles me how hypocritical this community can get sometimes.

I'll be the first to agree. I didn't think the game was that great, but that's probably because of all the saturation of varying AC games out there now. We've all been spoiled. Wanting it back to basics while asking to be as good as Ezio, while pointing out minor gripes is a tall order. At this point, there are so many AC games now I think us sane gamers are exhausted from all the complaints we just want to enjoy what we like without being influenced by negativity.

I think the Problem is that Basim's story is dealing with political espionage outside of an official military zone. It is a stealth setting with him trying to avoid damage. Accordingly we can say stealth and parkour. However, the Golden Age of Baghdad should have a lot of stories to tell, thus being able to implement a lot of them in the game. Marc-Alexis Côté said “It is a smaller Assassin's Creed project,” to celebrate the 15th anniversary. $50 for the standard edition reflects the scale of the project. It was already announced that is around 20 hours playtime. They have said that they will continue to develop the Ubisoft Anvil, but that has yet to be proven.
