There really are not any other pathways, save for if you're a flanker. Both the other two paths are absolutely obscenely skinny and long corridors, one of which is RIGHT NEXT TO THE LEDGE. Going any other path as a team is suicide.

Zanny and achievements is surprisingly a good example of Pavlov’s classical conditioning There is the unconditioned stimulus (crashing) causing the unconditioned response (anger, upset-ness), and overwatch introduced a neutral stimulus, an achievement. As achievements were causing crashing Zanny built an association between achievements and crashing, hence his flinching when he gets an achievement. You can even see concepts such as spontaneous recovery, once overwatch fixed the bug there was extinction, the association was broken, probably after Zanny got an achievement or two and realized they don’t cause crashes anymore. But after some time passed the conditioned stimulus (the achievement) showed up again and caused the conditioned response. Interesting stuff!
