Been to kalamaki 4times but I prefer Alykanas Been there 30 times , going back in July & September love holidays there,the Greek Islands and people are fantastic ,

I've never seen waves on Kalamaki beach before, its always been flat as a pancake on my visits.

Early season I suppose, I think its the first time I've seen bigger waves there too. Could hear the waves at night time too. Think they only lasted a few days.

Just booked louros beach for next year will be our 4th time in Kalimaki not been for 5yrs now great vlog

Great video series 👍🏻 We are there August 10th, ( flying from Newcastle 😀👍🏻 ), we stay at the Dias, it has a great restaurant attached to it also. Some great places to eat and drink and the Greek people and sunshine make it an amazing place to relax and unwind. Was the chemist with the sexual enhancement pills on the main strip, asking for a friend….. 😂😂😂😂😂 Look forward to next instalment 👍🏻

Great video, we re looking to go here this year. I am also considering taking my DJI Mini 2 drone. When you took your drone, did you take it in hand luggage and was there any special requirements for it?

This was May, which can be a bit hit and miss. We've been in Maybegore and the weather was poor but when we did this, the weather was good.

We come 1 week today. Staying in Caretta Hotel and Waterpark. We are coming with our 9 year old daughter and cannot wait! Any tips on things to do whilst we are there?

If you are bringing the kids then definitely get yourself along to The Little Farm Laganas way. It's a little petting zoo and the animals are all used to being with humans. We actually did a video on that place too. There's another water park but not too sure if it would be open so early in the season. Take the bus or taxi I to Zante Town if you want a change of scenery and the beach in Kalamaki is definitely worth a visit.

The bar opposite vinaz, the one with the lovely beer garden does the best pina coladas we have ever had anywhere, its run by the same family who hire the sunbeds and parasols down the beach, I think the bar is called mykos

We went in there back in 2019 and had drinks in there, was a nice place. Seemed very quiet down there this time but think a lot of stuff was still to open for the season.

Sure, we were paying between 3-4 Euros in most places, think the most expensive we saw was 4.50 euros, probably in a restaurant. Melon Bar was on 3 for a large bottle of Mythos.

I walked along the beach to Laganas and back a couple of times - a beautiful walk in the sunshine ☀️☀️☀️ we sunbathed at Laganas beach and had free sunbeds as we ate lunch at one of the restaurants there ⛱️
