These were made by Privileg in the past in Germany. They had pretty good washers for an affordable price.

Does the energy sticker match the model on the machine? Also what is the clicking sound that the motor is making?

my IZ reads as 72° ish on the glass but it's actually 81°+ inside (measured with my wire probe thermometer). for some reason the IR thermometers just don't read correctly on these machines

These look absolutely gorgeous in this amazing silver colour it looks better than the white ones since the white ones yellow a lot I love them in this colour also I’ve noticed you got blue and yellow Morrisons fabric conditioner I’ve got the same I don’t like the drinks style carton I prefer the bigger cap as you naturally should be dosing softener via a cap and also it would encourage overdosing of the fabric softener these new cartons they are sold in which means throughout time more mould appearing and machines getting sludgy if you mix the blue and yellow Morrisons softener together you get such an amazing scent and smell at the end of the wash and on dried laundry it smells so nice it goes well with uk Daz gel also like you I love these models this model was sold here from 2000 till 2002/2003 then in 2002/03 it was superseeded with the IZ161 then in around 2003/4 it got branded as Zanussi-Electrolux and was sold till 2004/2005 the iz discontinued here in late 2004/early 2005 also there was an IZ style machine the ZWN1420 sold here which had the newer progress/essential/timeline font from like 2005/2006/2007 not a proper iz tho as it would have probably had the newer programming

i used a 1200 version had the jetsystem and display also had the door lock light

The weird thing is that it’s got the newer style water rating sticker on it despite it being an old machine.

I've been thinking of getting an Asko front loader, are they worth the money these days? I see the reviews are mixed which is a concern.

@@bradleybyrnes9907 the newest ones are not worth it they are overpriced they are unreliable they are known for rusting prematurely they are known for bearings going and board going and potentially leaking reliability is rubbish in asko washers also the programming is pretty rubbish in the askos I’ve seen on KZbin they limit spins easily like balanced loads without balancing could limit to 900/1000/1100/1200/1300/1400 instead of spinning at 1600 or 1800

I would get an LG, not worth buying the premium brands anymore, The LG cleans well and is silent, If you really want to spend money go for V-zug swiss made.

I would rather go for a Bosch or Siemens or Miele with full chrome door over an asko
