Regarding Milan Rastislav Štefánik's death, based on an Italian eyewitness, his plane wasn't shot down, though a rumor spread that the Czechoslovak Army shot it down because they thought the Italian plane was Hungarian (this is because he tried to land in Bratislava which was in a conflict area between the Hungarian Soviet Republic and Czechoslovakia). According to the eyewitness, on the first landing attempt at Bratislava, the wheels touched the landing path, after which the cooling water immediately started leaking which caused the overheating of the engines. And then on the second landing attempt, one of the engines exploded, resulting in the deaths of everyone on board. Regardless, he was an absolute legend for joining the French army so he could train to become an aviator, and organized Czechoslovak Legions as resistance to liberate their homeland from Austria-Hungary which led to the founding of the Czechoslovak National Council. Heck, a minor planet was discovered in 1982 by the Kleť Observatory in what's now Czechia and they chose to name it after him, 3571 Milanštefánik.

Ah yes, Zapadoslavia...just the Sorb flag upside down. And I love how Deutsches Reich brought their "Empire of Congo" to join the war effort, and said Empire of Congo did absolutely nothing...they just wanted the participation trophy. Though pretty based that it's the Zaire flag. Even *I* felt bad for the Germans. You know Milan Rastislav Štefánik is heavily respected in Slovakia when the Slovak government honors him by putting his face at the tail end of government airplanes, on top of Bratislava's airport being named after him. His personal motto was "Veriť, milovať, pracovat'" or "To Believe, To Love, To Work" and he lived that motto til the very end. As sad as it was, it was only fitting for his death to happen while doing his favorite thing, flying.

One thing about Štefánik Higher-ranking Russians, who were bribed by Lenin, sent the Czechoslovak legions in Russia to Siberia, from where Štefánik liberated them, for which they congratulated him. In the new Czechoslovakia, he was more important, more powerful and more respected (nation) than father Masaryk, who, together with Beneš, embezzled the money collected from abroad to start the economy of the new state. Czechoslovak legionnaires were employed as combat and defense elements of the state, their power was in the hands of Štefánik, they listened to him, Slovaks and Czechs liked him, Masaryk only Czechs. When he was returning home in an Italian plane after the first elections in Czechoslovakia, he was shot down on the orders of Masaryk and Beneš, who knew what was flying and who was flying in the plane, then they apologized that they could not identify the plane. And so the life of Milan Rastislav Štefánik ends. And that is not the whole hidden truth about Czechoslovakia, but also about the whole of Europe
