pretty sure glenn branca was an influence to rhys chatham and not the other way around

@@robbe3252 no. as far as i know branca played for chatham before he started to write music for multiple electric guitars and he had a different approach anyway. but i prefere branca´s guitarworks because it´s more explosive and chaotic. nevertheless - i got the pleasure to play ´donnergötter´ with rhys together in 2011. it was amazing.

Chatham was around earlier, Branca started using guitars first though. The debate about those two is never going to end.

this used to sound so great when we all young-uns in the east village.. not much to see here now. glenn branca's stuff is more interesting, makes rhys's stuff seem like sketches of a maybe someday idea maybe..
