@@DS-cb4id They should give more than 100 billions rather, as they have misruled Afghanistan for 2 decades as an occupying power through its proxy Afghan governments. The question now is about lives of common Afghan people who are starving and suffering untold economic hardships due to blocking of funds and is beyond the scope of government or nongovernment or inclusive/noninclusive verbal polemics. International community should rise over these polemics and help saving Afghan people as India has undertaken to supply 50000 tonnes of wheat and medicines free of cost and Sri Imran Khan should not hinder its transportation through its borders on flimsy grounds.

But if you take this rational of compensation then the whole of Indian subcontinent suffered because of British Empire and before that because of various Mughal Empires. The history of humans is a history of violence, cruelty, subjugation, slavery and exploitation. "Big fish eat small fish" and "Might is right" are the principles on which our civilization has worked. Law of jungle. This is the unfortunate reality. Can we change in future to a civilization that is fair and treats every human as equal? Only future can tell

I cant believe Khurram Hussain talked about incentives in the health and education sector. This is all great but a healthier workforce will not solve our problems when there are NO jobs for educated people. This is very misguided analysis, on national television. Sri Khurram has given good although somewhat one sided overview of Pakistan's economic troubles. Governments worldwide have indulged in monetary expansion to ward off ill effects of slowdown due to pandemic and PTI government should not be singled out for whatever efforts it has made in this direction. As Sri Khurram rightly points out time lag in results/effects shown about the efforts, may I point out that no economic plan can be perfect and adverse repercussions emerge on one segment of economy or other and corrective steps are the only cure rather than abandonment of policy steps taken. Sri Khan is handicapped by paucity of good economic advisors as his first choice an internationally acclaimed economist Sri Atif Miya was forcibly removed from post due to opposition from religious orthodoxy abetted by political parties. Since then around 5 economic advisors/ministers have been replaced and a cogent economic policy has been a casualty in the process.

Sri Khurram, please also explore role of leakages from economy and price gouging for fall in rupee exchange rate verses dollar and the resultant inflation alongside role of profiteering mafias. Also you have ignored rise in crude prices as a factor. Sri Reza Baqir should not be made a scapegoat and as an economist you should spare some sympathy as he is trying to fulfill broad objectives set by executive and finance ministry through available monetary tools and added to that he has to follow IMF's fiats for a measly billion dollar of loan instalment. I don't envy his position and possibly you will also hesitate to step in his shoes at this juncture.

When Taliban's chief patron Pakistan is hesitating to grant recognition, Afghanistan's fate is sealed as a pariah country ruled by erstwhile terrorist now clueless rulers to be given food aid to prevent starvation deaths to assuage guilt of Western governments. USA as occupation force for 2 decades has splurged 3 trillion dollars in payments to maintain army, contractors cartel without lifting a finger to help Afghanistan's economy. Iraq is still burning and thankfully Syria was saved by Russia and Iran, but still suffered untold losses and miseries upon its civilians. So, poor countries are just like pawns on a chessboard game played by USA and West.
