Elay Sieukfp I wouldn't know I'm English from how I saw it though she comes across as more intelligent in this interview. Maybe the questions are different.....in English interviews, I find that the interviewers treat her like a blonde idiot, whereas in Scandinavia they treat her with more respect and treT her as the intelligent person she is. If she sounds irritating to you, I'm sorry but unlike a lot of singers these days she's a complete original with no filter to what she says. She's also not afraid to say what she thinks and I think that's great..and in this day and age I can say that I like cereal for breakfast and still offend somebody, so you can't win. My generation (and yours perhaps) are full of people trying to make themselves look the same and talk the same. We need more people like Zara 😍

@James Brown Actually thats not true. Alot of people in sweden threat her as a blonde idiot, pretty much everyone but her fans. And I dont blame them at all, just look at this interview in the vid. She does the english interviews very good compared to the swedish ones.. Although I can agree with you that the swedish interviewers show her a little more respect than other interviewersdo but thats becasue people in sweden are very nice and dont push down people open to the public on TV, whoever it is about. I dont really know why you are defending her from me? I dont have anything against her opinions but I cant stand the way she behave in interviews. Well. She does both look, talk and behave like 50% of the swedish female adolescents/young women. She is nothing original at all so I dont know what you are talking about. I have met zara a few times here in Stockholm. I love her music and I think shes pretty cool but she aint doing the interviews good at and thats a fact. @Sanna Sanner Yes.

The problem with people like Zara isn't that they are fully wrong about what they're saying, it is that they are very selective in what information they want to swallow and share which results in a very incomplete picture of reality. Many teenage girls think like she does, there is not much uniqueness there really, it's simply a young persons desire of wanting to make the world a better place but it is being done imperfectly by accumulating information which comfortably can fit into their already established view of the world.
@alexilampinen95307 жыл бұрын
Please tell me then what kind of inaccurate information she's portraying in this interview?
@RnBLover19977 жыл бұрын
It's not about what she said in this particular video. I can understand her view on males in groups as she is mentioning in this interview. But on social media in the past, she have had a certain attitude (reflected in some of her tweets) which easily can be misunderstood by young people (since she's an influence on young girls) in where many of them use the "I am stronger and better" attitude as a form of identity. Hate is never right and even if Zara in her own mind just wasn't "meaning" something doesn't mean that many of her young immature followers understand that. "I hate men" is not something a man should be offended by but it's something that can be questioned for other reasons since it is sending out the wrong message regardless of the "underlying" meaning. It's not always about if someone got offended or not, it's about influencing people. One interesting thing that I often think gets ignored by feminists like her is the eventual biological framework from which our now established and often exaggerated stereotypes have been shaped by. There is interesting studies on how females and males are portrayed and in how personality traits manifest themselves in many different cultures around the world and it suggests that it's by no means strange that our stereotypes look like they do. It could be interesting to discuss differences in wages without only looking at one reason for it(oppression) too for example. There is of course also the "men are rapists" problem in where studies on certain cultures and their view on women seems to fly by these feminists. Probably because we are supposed to feel sorry for everyone who isn't a white male. Which is wrong, obviously. We should all try to look at the world without using a certain ideology as our "glasses"(at least try too). Generally speaking, many young feminists seem to get lost in rage and plays this overly aggressive character that is actively looking for enemies to stamp on so that they can feel better. It's not only feminists but people of all political stances really, often young people, always ready to use social suppression techniques even though they are against it when it is used against "their" group. There are studies which confirms that many young girls feel less worth than boys which is sad of course, but this is also what could be fueling their narcissistic desires to feel bigger and better which leads to self destructive behaviours later on. Selective empathy (only empathise with people I can identify with, everyone who are attacking me are enemies which should be destroyed) is common not only among feminists but among extreme leftist people in general and they are completely ignorant of the fact that many destructive behaviours stems from low self esteem. We don't have to please everyone who feels offended, we might much rather look at the underlying motivation behind a certain action or reaction and work from there. Many feminists seem to be stone sure of that patriarchy is something horrible that must be destroyed. I'm sure that our society isn't perfect but to be sure of "destroying" something that isn't even fully understood or analysed yet, I think is stupid. I hope you understand what I mean. I tried to make it as short as possible. If you don't, I would much rather continue to discuss this over email or something. I'm sure you have some interesting things to say as well.
