I agree...I find the stores hard to navigate and can NEVER find what I've got in for, and the website is terrible so thank god for trinny. I just do a big order and send loads back. Also sizes come up so different on each item. Have to order at least two to try on!

This statement helps me understand that all "standard color rules" that I personally struggle with...but instead try to Go with what I feel looks good on me, and look outside the box to create an outfit "moment" that's mine. In the first part of the video Trinny was in Zara TRF (you can distinguish it by the triangle 🔻) not Basic, and TRF section is having the cheapest items, indeed. Zara Basic ⬛ you can find literally basics, for everyday wearing. In Zara Woman ⚫ you can find good fabrics that can lasts for years. 🌞

I also have found that Zara TRF clothes are cut even smaller than the rest of the store. My daughter has gained quite a selection of my pre loved Zara items. 😂

I've been using that rule too, since I heard Trinny talk about it. I think for day it would look nice with grey flannel or charcoal. At night, I'd go with something more daring - maybe a print with that purple in it or something opposite on the color wheel.

I love these videos. Even if you don’t shop at Zara, they’re great for learning what lines and shapes to look out for. Also what fabrics look expensive and will stand up well. I pay attention to that in thrift stores because if items still look good at the thrift, it’s probably a nice fabric and brand new that will last forever when taken good care of. I totally agree on the Colour Seasons categories. I’m a darker natural auburn redhead with eyes that look green or blue, and I don’t fit into a single category. Even when I don’t colour my hair brighter, which brightens my skin and is much more flattering to my skin and eyes. I just take what I can use out of their Autumn and Winter “rules”. At 45 I’ve learned what colors and shades looks more flattering on me. It’s usually more saturated colours. I also prefer navy and brown/camel to black.

I wish Zara were more size inclusive. I love watching these vids but it's bittersweet as I know none of the clothes would fit me. If Mango can go beyond a size 16 I don't see why Zara can't.

I personally don't mind the sizes... people should lighten up! Zara is just a retailer, not out to change the world! Those complaining (including Trinny - I'm starting to dislike her virtue signalling) should open their own clothing brand and offer what they want. Or go to a tailor/seamstress.

You're so right! The fashion industry still only caters for smaller sizes even though the average size is expanding, leaving us above a size 16 with only around 15 % of the all the clothes in the shops to choose from😒 On top of that the industry still thinks we don't like quality, great cuts and lots of colour. The majority of larger sizes only come in black!!!😤

Dear Trinny, Im so glad you pointed out something very important.. "I was told Im an Autumn and these colours look shit one me".. Brilliant.. years ago I use to have so many women who delighted in having their colours done ( good on them ) BUT there is negative side to this, people do not try for themselves.. I had one lady where I had a particular red dress and said please try this one, replied. "oh I do love that but got told red isn't my colour".. ( hmmn well you see there are many different reds I explained to her ) popped her into the change room and HELLO she came out beaming.. she looked fantastic.. its about knowing whats you.. xoox

I think they save the best bits for the major city centre branches and possibly even European major cities! I live near Canterbury in Kent and the Zara is just full of the "basics' and TRF. Bluewater one is a different shop altogether.
