Lmfao 😃 That ending was funny. A burp and fart combo.

Ngl, I think the He-Man sets should be presented in the front, because that mural is always so eye-catching.

Thanks again for the shout out Sean. :) Thundarr was actually Ruby-Spears, Hanna-Barbera brought them out and that's why Warner Archive just decided to put the Hanna-Barbera label on Thundarr, despite the fact that it wasn't. The second volume of the UK M.A.S.K. set also had an episode where you had the audio from another episode present, but very faint, among the original 65. LOL at that ending. :D

I was obsessed with Captain Power too Sean. Such a great, dark, emotional series. I’ve been hoping you would do a video covering all things CP for years!!
@zaranyzerak6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I need to do a proper video all about that at some point.

Hey Sean, That 200X Heman set, The last disc on volume 3 was infamous for a bad transfer. Not sure if you have watched them by now, but if not, you might want to check that out to make sure your good.

A little late now if I have that disc. If anything, it's a nice rarity if that's the case.

Bucky O'Hare is my favourite from this shelf. I was at the perfect age for it when it first aired and even got a bunch of the action figures for my Birthday and Xmas one year. Still have them though they are now in my nephews toybox for when he comes to visit haha.

I really need to track down the original graphic novel of Bucky O'Hare one of these days.

Don’t wanna give out spoilers for anyone who plans on watching this series for the first time, but oh man a certain character’s demise still chokes me up to this day. I know you know what I’m talking about...

Yes. I most definitely do. And so do I. :(

Bravestar the legend was released in theaters in America in fact it was in mine when it came out. It was called "bravestarr the movie" here and "bravestarr the legend" in the uk. We never got it on vhs here however. The dvd used the uk print. Also inhumanoids did get a release by rhino but they never released the full series.
@zaranyzerak6 жыл бұрын
Interesting, Bravestarr must have had a super limited run then because it never saw the light of day in theaters out my way. I actually knew about the Rhino releases of Inhumanoids (and talk about them in my Closer Look at my Inhumanoids VHS/DVD releases - I even have an angry rant/review on the second volume on amazon about Rhino not finishing shows on DVD), must have slipped my mind in the haste to cover everything on the shelf quickly.
@saturdaymorningfan31236 жыл бұрын
Yeah it did not do well. Many theaters played it in the daytime only and others on weekends only! Shame. It was a fun movie.

Definitely! I know it was released on DVD recently, I posted about it on the Facebook page when the news broke. I just ordered it recently, waiting for it to arrive.

Their was a live action Lazer Tag sat morning show, do you know if it was released anywhere, also the visionary set online is a bootleg and I have it in my collection (I have no multi region player available to me) the bootleg is nicely done but I still have hope we’ll get an official region one release and have actually e-mailed Shout! Factory about it so maybe if other fans would send in that idea something might happen, also the He-Man movie blu-ray looks goooood! and was only $5.00 at wal-mart
@zaranyzerak6 жыл бұрын
I know there was an animated series of Lazer Tag (I watched it the one year it was on) that only got a single VHS release of the first 5 episodes as far as I know. There were a bunch of live action commercials, but I don't remember a live action series. Yeah, that visionaries set listed on amazon is a bootleg. The one I have is the only official release, and it was Region 2. Only official release we got here was the VHS ones. I'll have to grab that He-Man blu-ray, I heard it was a really good transfer.
@mikecrawford20296 жыл бұрын
Zaranyzerak the live action Lazer Tag was pared with the new land of the lost Series (at least on my local Chanel who played it on Sunday mornings for some reason) and the basic premise was that aliens used th Lazer tag arena’s sort of like the last starfighter game to find suitable warriors (whose armor and weapons just happened to look like the merchandise of the time). You should see if you can’t find a couple episodes of it online it was like a cross between captain power and land of the lost
@zaranyzerak6 жыл бұрын
Well damn, how have I not known about that all these years! Definitely something I want to check out now!
@saturdaymorningfan31236 жыл бұрын
It was not lazer tag. It was photon. They used real songs like kidd video so it would be edited if they ever release it. They have a few episodes on youtube. It's really cheesy 80's camp!

Nice, if there's one thing positive to say about the upcoming series "Thundercats Roar", is that it makes me want to check both the 80's and 2011 cartoons. F--- THUNDERCATS ROAR!!! Also been interested is checking out the 2002 "Masters of the Universe" series. Never really seen the original series of "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe". A friend of mine here on KZbin says the 2002 series is vastly superior to the original series. But I'd like to check out the 80's series just for the hell of it.
@zaranyzerak6 жыл бұрын
The 80's series is certainly worth checking out, but it will be clear pretty much right away that it was aimed at a much younger audience. The 2002 series was most for teens/adults and had a much more complex, mature storyline.
