Patrice is the best, Friday the 13th part three is the best, and the De Niro Deer Hunter Russian roulette scene is the best acting ever. Couldn’t agree more. It is odd -- maybe cliche, but still odd -- how Opie incessantly complains about Howard's diva behavior + needs, while basically doing his own low-rent imitation (buying house in Hamptons, going to special how-to-cope therapy, hiring special chauffeur, obsessing over street photography, scooping up much-younger wife, wanting off-air celebratory events, wanting part-time schedule, yelling at underlings about breakfast). I'd think it was a satirical bit, except Opie just isn't that deep.

99.9% of the time, Patrice was on point and ahead of his time, so I don’t want to point out one of the specific times he wasn’t on point - so with that said - he was off on the super hero movies, Captain America, etc. he was absolutely right about Green Lantern but it’s no fault of Patrice’s. I wish he could have been around to see the extended MCU because I, as a comic nerd, would have loved to hear his opinion on the MCU as it stands now. I feel like there’s so many hours of missed opportunity just on this subject alone that we were robbed of by Patrice’s demise. There’s so many things I wish I could hear his take on since he’s left us. RIP Patrice.

@joebagadonuts3566
@joebagadonuts3566 5 жыл бұрын
During the filming of One-Eyed Jacks in 1960, Marlon had an affair with one of the actresses. One evening, Marlon invited the woman to his house. Unbeknown to her, he phoned her husband before she arrived, telling him he had been sleeping with his wife for months. When the husband refused to believe it, Marlon asked him to come over - he would leave the door open. When the husband arrived, he found Marlon and his wife naked in bed. That was the end of the couple's marriage, though Marlon regarded the incident as nothing more than a joke.

I thought the Planet of The Apes remake was bad, because they half-assed the role reversal between the humans and other apes. In the original, humans lost their only weapon -- intelligence -- and the apes gained it, all while keeping the strength that allowed them survive beforehand When that's established, it's easy to accept why humans couldn't take back control. In the new one, humans were unchanged. They just sat around biding their time, conducting ineffectual guerilla attacks. Except for superior strength, the other apes were behind humans in applying their brainpower. I spent most of the movie trying to figure out why the humans sat back, pretending to be savages.

Because most addicts don't have acess to proper rehabs, usually just a week or 2 long thing that they leave still addicted plus a debt. @@Spootnik yup 30-45 days programs for the most part. And really that's all they wanna go for. They want to go knock out 30 days and get back to their lives.
