Nice little colanders. Great for air pruning any roots that grow out of it. Nice little tutorial. Trees are looking good, especially the 2 in those mini pots. Nice mini pots.

Third mini pot was an excellent repot. A true bonsai master you are. Mini's are cool and easy to handle for the elderly to work with.

Hello Kimi! Quite interesting. I had/have a lot of those seedlings and after one year, I planted them in pots individually and watered and fedd them well. The results? Well, since we had a lot of heat and sunny conditions over here last year, they grew too fast, I think! Or, I was too slow to begin wiring them and cutting them back. Furthermore, I think I fed them too much. On the other hand: now every little tree is quite healthy and well rooted so I guess they can tolerate a few dramatic backcutting and wiring actions. I noticed that they grow new budds quite easily so there's always hope... Most of them are three years now and I've learned that that is actually a bit late for wiring the trunk for much movement. Anyway, watching you video brings ideas and perspectives. Thank you and good luck!

The seedlings in the basket, once basket was removed, to me it looked like an old world forest. Your seedlings really took off for you. Nice green needles.

nice report, I always wonder how they can survive in micro pots like this, on my terrace where in summer the concrete reaches 70°C they would last a few hours and then die. or vice versa in winter (currently +13°C/-3°C) frozen. I'm experimenting with growing it in an indoor basement with outside ventilation and glass block that guarantees constant natural light. (experiment because someone told me that almost all plants must be outside, apart from the ficus and succulents that I grow indoors in winter, also citrus fruits that develop well and easy with strong roots that i select 1st and 2nd year) Ciao e complimenti.

Buenos días Kimiko, hoy nos muestra. Un nuevo grupo de plántulas de pinos que cultivaste, se ve muy buena los sustratos que mezclaste, que contenga micorrizas es la mejor opción. Buena explicación de cuáles plántulas y porque son adecuadas para mini bonsái.
