This is the perfect 100% ending.
Choices made in the game(including obtaining Vandal Hearts sword) will determine most of the ending.
Obtaining 100% will give you the Vandalier ending(where he returns the sword to the ruins).

At the Press Start screen - Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, R1
If it does not work, try doing it with second controller in second slot.

Man, gj. Not to take away from your time and effort in doing this for us viewers, but I swear compared to the first game they made obtaining VH so unbelievably mundane. What I mean by this is, at least in the first one, obtaining it was paralleled with the story as you progressed forward, and even if you didnt get the armor, you still got the sword. This however, if you don't go through the loops and crannies, you wouldn't even know why the game is called vandal heart in the first place. Anyhow, thanks for your time and effort!

The ending i got was sad but imo it was somewhat beautifull too. Adele died and at the end Hero went to the mountain place of their childhood, then it shows them as kids in the past.

You did a great job beating this game 100%,I only did the main story with a bad ending (Yuri and Adele killed by my sword but I don't care xD) and it tooks me almost 70 hours to finish it,this game is pure fun and entertainment (like all japanese s-rpgs) with amazing story.

It took me quite some time to get the perfect ending.. the very same one you achieved. That Vandal Heart was quite a lengthy side quest in order to get it... but it was totally wort it. Because of that.. I managed to prevent Yuri and Clive from dying.... and Adele of course :)

Vandalier ash is probably the only connection this game had to the last vandal hearts.

how do i get the gradius Sword? I remember that a long time ago she showed up at the store to buy and after a long time I started a new game and never came back and I had no suikoden save at all. I just don't know how I activated it.

Really doesn't make much sense to end the series here. And, no; Flames of Judgement doesn't count as an entry to the series. It wasn't even close to 2, which was still a ways off from 1.

Frank (DyD) I do not think saves have anything to do with. Are you sure you used it at the "press start" screen? If it did not work still, try using a second controller in the second slot and use the code. With that said, I do not think I personally ever had to do that.

Frank (DyD) Sorry to hear that... Hmm.. I can't say for sure what's wrong. I've used the code for 2 playthroughs in the past without error so I never had a problem before. I may look into it and see if I get it to work or if there's something I'm missing. I suggest looking around for more info in the meantime. Good luck!
