This video is amazing and really well played and made. Thank you as always and congratz about the tourney. As a side note (regarding around 48:00), I believe one of the dojo tutorial missions is actually throwing Leo while he tries to cross you up (I'm surprised about the great effort arc sys put on tutorials. This is my first gg and missions are really nice to begin understanding the mechanics and game overall)

Thanks for providing us with this offline feeling of games man! ~

Unfortunately, since leo's projectile travels a set distance and then disappears, usually it only travels like 2 feet after I reflect it, then my recovery gets punished ;_; I think if I ran closer to leo when he did it, that problem would be gone though!

As a Giovanna main, I have the most trouble fighting Zato. I don't know if the matchup is bad for me or I just suck at the game. Prolly the latter. @PraiseBabyDel3 жыл бұрын
How execution heavy is Zato with the negative edging? I do not have the fastest fingers, so that's why I am a bit hesitant. However, your matches were super fun to watch, and I'd like to give him a try. I'd be really curious to see a hand cam.
@RathFGC3 жыл бұрын
Zato can be challenging to learn because of how his inputs work. Basically, he needs to be comfortable with holding buttons down, while he presses other buttons, and then choosing which button he lets go of first. It's sort of a "rub your belly and pat your head simultaneously" kind of coordination thing. Just takes practice, but it can be unintuitive and awkward for quite a while. (very fun once you learn it though!)
@PraiseBabyDel3 жыл бұрын
@@RathFGC It's more awkward than it's execution heavy then. After watching your video, most characters just look okay. You made him look super stylish and fun to play with cool combos and set ups.
@chenwang64103 жыл бұрын
How hard would you consider learning Zato, especially with negative edge? I am now floor 7 with Ky, and Zato looks to be a really unique and interesting character. I don't know whether i should wait until i am more familiar with the game's movement and mechanism before picking him up though.

@RathFGC3 жыл бұрын
I think reacting in time AND making my hands do a special input that quickly would be difficult or impractical, but that doesn't mean it's impossible! I'm interested now too

@RathFGC3 жыл бұрын
That's a great question because as you mentioned, controlling Eddie can be difficult if you don't have a layout that let's you keep a finger on every major button, without needing to use the same finger for two different buttons. I use: P. K. S. D. HS. Dash. I hope you can find something that works for you!
