Thanks for watching! If you're brand new to strive and want to learn the game quickly, I highly recommend checking out my beginner's guide here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6LZm6ihjMiUhKc Also, I should have a zato guide out sometime next week, so if he interests you, be sure to subscribe so you can see it when it comes out!

Damn, I really like your Zato. The way you use Eddie in midrange looks safer and more aggressive than KnowKami's in a way. Your air mobility also looks completely different. I'll have to steal a little bit of both.

This video is amazing and really well played and made. Thank you as always and congratz about the tourney. As a side note (regarding around 48:00), I believe one of the dojo tutorial missions is actually throwing Leo while he tries to cross you up (I'm surprised about the great effort arc sys put on tutorials. This is my first gg and missions are really nice to begin understanding the mechanics and game overall)

Damn, I really like these GG video's. I only started to get more into FGC due to FighterZ (played Smash, SF, Tekken casually before) but seeing this makes me want to expand horizon and hopefully in the near corona free future one day travel to evens and meet all these amazing players and just have a blast. Thanks for providing us with this offline feeling of games man! ~

As a Giovanna main, I have the most trouble fighting Zato. I don't know if the matchup is bad for me or I just suck at the game. Prolly the latter. Also you think you make a mix up tutorial for this game, cause I have no idea what to do or is that something that is more character focused and there aren't many universal options except dust and throw?

How execution heavy is Zato with the negative edging? I do not have the fastest fingers, so that's why I am a bit hesitant. However, your matches were super fun to watch, and I'd like to give him a try. I'd be really curious to see a hand cam.
@RathFGC
@RathFGC 3 жыл бұрын
Zato can be challenging to learn because of how his inputs work. Basically, he needs to be comfortable with holding buttons down, while he presses other buttons, and then choosing which button he lets go of first. It's sort of a "rub your belly and pat your head simultaneously" kind of coordination thing. Just takes practice, but it can be unintuitive and awkward for quite a while. (very fun once you learn it though!)
@PraiseBabyDel
@PraiseBabyDel 3 жыл бұрын
@@RathFGC It's more awkward than it's execution heavy then. After watching your video, most characters just look okay. You made him look super stylish and fun to play with cool combos and set ups.
@chenwang6410

How hard would you consider learning Zato, especially with negative edge? I am now floor 7 with Ky, and Zato looks to be a really unique and interesting character. I don't know whether i should wait until i am more familiar with the game's movement and mechanism before picking him up though.

@RathFGC
@RathFGC 3 жыл бұрын
That's a great question because as you mentioned, controlling Eddie can be difficult if you don't have a layout that let's you keep a finger on every major button, without needing to use the same finger for two different buttons. I use: P. K. S. D. HS. Dash. I hope you can find something that works for you!
