Next year is going to be my last year of school, what's the best way of living it?
@OniiChanPls3 ай бұрын
@@lohannes20 I have a few answers. The first ties into my last one but also has a deep general application. At the end of your life, no one will remember you for frivolous things like how much money you made, accomplishments, or anything else. As a matter of fact, at the end of your life, all of your accomplishments and accolades die with you in a way. I'm not saying don't accomplish goals, but don't let them interfere with the most fundamentally important thing - relationships. It's what makes clannad so fulfilling. A life well lived with people you love. Be a good child to your parents, be a good friend to your friends, etc. Impact those around you for better. The second is to know you're building up the building blocks of your life right now. Take care of your finances, health, and if you do those well, you'll be fruitful. Share those fruits with your loved ones and help take care of them. I've gotten better with my money recently and steered my dad towards a better insurance policy. I'm getting fit as we speak so when I get married, my wife will love how i look but more importantly, how I'll treat her - so have a good work ethic and great character to be a good man (assuming you are a man) The 3rd for me is what ties everything together. while everything I told you is applicable in general, I've learned all of what I said above from the Bible. I'm a Christian guy who has learned to have his character molded by God and scripture. My anger is more easily controlled. Im more disciplined. I know what salvation is, how to get it, and have walked with many through hard seasons - not trying to brag, but I wouldn't know how to help anyone in a legitimate time of need without scripture or God. I've learned to stop chasing money, status and reputation and want to love others the way I've been commanded to. While the 3rd may not be up your alley, I hope you can see how Christ has influenced these answers for me and I hope that you, as a young man, may shine bright as a light in this dark world. It's hard. It gets harder. But we can help one another and I want to do it the way Christ has helped me.

She died and her last words to me will never be forgotten. "Thank you for taking care of me..........uncle". That was the first time I was called anything like that. Breaking the news to my friend didn't go well either, he blamed me for leaving her alone and not helping. I've started watching anime with Naruto, FMA classic and (weirdly enough) To Love Ru. Then my friend recommended Clannad in 2011 and it blew me away. I finally understood that anime could be more than shounen shit and to this day it's my favorite of all times and even after watching 670 others, that love hasn't changed.

Sure the show gets extremely sad near the end, but I think Clannad in its entirety is a happy experience that makes you feel good, and I think that's why I get so emotional whenever I hear these songs. I get nostalgic and think of all the "good times" during the show, but it's also accompanied by a tinge of regret due to the ending. Either way, this is one of my favourite shows of all time. All the characters are just so likable and well developed.

I graduated from high school about 3 months and 14 days ago...as the valedictorian of my class. And I attribute this achievement to clannad after story. Literally. It was the reason I became so insanely motivated because it gave me the dream of wanting to make the world a better place.. As cliché as it sounds. A world where no one suffers. Or now that I've faced reality after trying to avoid thinking about how I can't end all suffering.. I now have the goal of at least alleviating suffering worldwide. Clannad after stroy has given me hope. Even though clannad after story changed me over 3 years ago, i was insanely motivated for this entire period. But my past self (before Clannad ~AS~ changed me. ) scarred me with a popcorn addiction. Which has been affecting me still to this day and is what has been causing me to make even more mistakes.. Like wasting time on meaningless activities... But coming back to Clannad 's OSTs.. Has been giving me further motivation and hope that I can overcome this addiction of mine.. And make my goal come true. I worked my butt off to become the valedictorian... (p.s. I was the worst student in my class before clannad AS changed me.) and I will do the same to achieve my goal. Thank you (for the trillionth time.) Jun Maeda, And everyone else involved in the making of this masterpiece that changed my life forever. ...

Reading the English lyrics, they fit very well with the show. The line of "making breakfast for three" and especially the parts of walking up the sloped road. But the saddest part is the line "I'll show you when I was truly strong." That makes me think of Tomoya's change when he realized how much he was hurting Ushio by being so distant and after the trip to the flower field, how he was finally able to start putting the past behind him and being there for her. Yeah, this anime is a tear-jerker. Even after watching it a second time, it took everything in me not to cry. And I absolutely love this opening song :)
