LOL...That's funny. "Can you save the rear tires and use them up front?"...LOL...Always thinkin' ahead, ya?? I have a '16 SP Shaker 6 Speed that I factory ordered in May last year and it just turned over 7800kms and while I'm not a fan of Goodyear tires, I do find that these F1's do stick to OFF Ramps like glue but I'll still be glad to switch them out and go up to 275/40/20's as well. I guess the Line Lock option would certainly speed up that process?? Hahaha...Off Topic here but have you tried making your own Light Show yet?? I haven't attempted it yet but I think that I'd like to give it a shot though??

So far, for the rear lights anyway, I like the #3 setting, so I'll probably keep #3 rear lighting but add in the tail lights to it, as well as the license plate light and the High Mount Stop Light but again, with different timings to them both. As for the Front Lights, I'd like to have the Fogs run like a (Wig-Wag) which is an "Old School" cop car lighting that was used back in the day where there was about 1 - 1.5 seconds in between individual flashes and then do the (4) rings and High Beams as more of a "Strobe" Effect, with the rings being a single Strobe flash and the High Beams being a Quick Double Strobe Flash before an obvious BREAK in between the changing of the Rings that flash....If you get what I'm saying here??? It sounds messed up but in my head it makes sense...hahaha...and I'll completely leave out the front Parking Lights altogether, unless I can run the Side Marker Lights alone?? That part I'm not to sure about yet?? It would be nice if we could use the Rear Red Side Marker Lights but I don't think that's an option at all, since they don't flash at all now on their own!! I'm sure that I could install a set of Whelen Strobes in the Rear Reds but I don't want to do that either. I'm an EMT as well as a Volunteer Fire Fighter and before changing careers, I was a copper for 11yrs and I know a lot about lighting and we always used Whelen Products and I became good friends with the Whelen salesman and he taught me a lot about their lighting and he gave me a great deal on lighting for my Dodge Ram and even then....I spent way too much friggin' money on lighting...hahaha...and now my winter beater...lol...It's NOT a winter beater at all, it's my winter car because I don't drive the SP in the winter and I never will. I know that you live in NJ, so your winters are shit like mine. I live about 90 minutes north of you, so we basically we both get the same shit every winter, even though this year wasn't too bad compared to most!! But anyway, my winter car is a 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT in Granite Crystal and I have Strobes in the Fog Lights and Headlight Housings and in the Tail, Reverse and Brake Lights, and 2 x 3" Round Disc LED's behind the grill and 2 Interior Front and Rear Windshield Undercover Light Bars. I love lights...lol...I'm thinking about buying another TAZER for the 300 now?? Anyway, the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, so maybe I'll gamble making my own Light Package and see what happens?? If I get anywhere and get it to look and work properly, would you like me to send you the settings I've used?? Oh ya, sorry man, one more Off Topic question, if you don't mind?? Have you tried the Adaptive Reset yet?? I don't know if I got it to work or not because I don't see or hear any confirmation chime or light. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?? What do you consider the "BACK" button to be?? The "LEFT" arrow key?? That's what's throwing me off as well. I'm not sure if the LEFT arrow is the Back button?? Do you drive your SP in the winter?? If so, how did the G2 Paint hold up through the snow, ice, salt and sand?? I like your choice in colour BTW and I love the new fuel door as well. You're machine looks awesome with all the exterior goodies you've added too!! Nice work on everything. Are you pleased with the Barton shifter?? It looks great!! I just finished installing the HURST Carbon Fiber Pistol Grip shifter last weekend and I love it!! My only issue with it is that I was going to buy the cell phone holder that you did for my Samsung S7 but I think with the angle of the Pistol Grip, I'd end up punching the holder, that's not good. But oh well, I get more of a benefit from the shifter than I would from the holder. Next is the AUX buttons, also a great video on that install, thanks for that too!! All your install vids are A1+++ I also replaced the Air Filter with the filter from R2C Performance. Here's the link for you>>>www.r2cperformance.com/mopar-cold-air-intake-replacement-filters.aspx It comes in Mopar Blue or Black, I went with the Black version because my SP is (Maximum Steel) and I really didn't like that shade of Blue either. And my FULL lighting package arrived today from Diode Dynamics. I'm looking forward to getting all those bulbs installed, especially those friggin' UGLY off yellow Fog Lights!!! God, how I hate the OEM Fog Light bulbs!! Mother Mopar made the Headlight/Parking Light Unit look so cool and then they dropped the ball with the Fog Light Bulbs. I'm not overly thrilled with the Fog Light design as it is but then to have to look at those Off Yellowish shitty looking bulbs on top of that, it just makes matters worse to me. So, they'll be gone tmr forever...lol...Ok, I'm done now. I do apologise for the long comments and the several "Off Topic" questions as well!! I really didn't mean to waste this much of your time here on this post, but in my defense, once I start talking about cars in general, I'm screwed...hahaha... Me and "Car Talk" are a nightmare together...lol...So, I do appreciate your patience and replying quickly to my comments as well!! Thanks!!

The light show is totally personal preference, for me I like #3 as well but I disable the fogs and the High/Low beams because I leave mine running for a few hours at a time while at shows. we've got 2 EMTs and a few officers in our club, so I get to enjoy the light shows (non tazer) quite often. for the 2013 300 you get feature sets 1,2,4,8 1 = Add Sport Mode 2 = Add Performance Timers in EVIC screen (0-60, 0-100, 1/8mi, 1/4mi, Brake Distance, G-Forces, Lap Timer, Top Speed) 4 = Add Performance Pages in Uconnect screen 8 = Line Lock, Light Shows, Full ESP disable, Force RWD, Add fog lights/backup camera, in-motion nav lockout disable, Clear Check Engine Light, Silence seat belt chime Not bad! The back button is considered the left arrow on the steering wheel. The TaZer adaptive reset is for the TCM learned adaptive shits so it's Transmission only. The adaptive reset most people are talking about requires you to pull the appropriate fuse for your year or disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. When I pulled the battery to install my AUX buttons my car was about 18 months old. I DID NOT notice any difference in performance and I was really hoping to enjoy the benefits of it :( I drive my SP all year except when snow or ice is on the road, I do drive when there is salt down and in the rain with salty roads. the G2 is still kicking butt and looks as shiny and clean as the day I put it on. I do have 1 chip from some fool who did a burnout and sprayed my car with rocks, but he chipped my door, wheels and G2 so I can't fault the G2. Thanks for all the compliments I like adding stuff, but it's hard to keep a balance and from adding too much accessories. Trying to keep it subtle. The Barton shifter is very nice, it took a little getting used to for daily driving because of the added height (about 3/4") and the fact that it centers on 3rd and 4th so I need to pull a little for 1st and second. After a few days it was second nature so it's nothing bad I was just that I was used to the sloppy / floppy stock shifter. The barton really shines on the drag strip I consistently shaved off time from my runs because the shits were clean and perfect every time totally worth it for both the looks and performance. OMG!!! Thank you for that link!!!!!!!!! I have been wanting a Black filter for my Shaker This one is freakin awesome!!! you seriously just made my morning! I constantly stare at the red filter in my ram air cage and it looks terrible. ...Not for long :) Thanks! I also did not like the yellow fogs, so I went with the Diode Dynamics as well it was a gift from my folks so I went with the best one :) the XML2 in 5000K it's been over a year and they kick butt. For my 2015 I did not need the anti-flicker module, when they shipped it the module had the wrong connectors. I installed without and it's been perfectly fine. You will know right away if it's needed. I just returned it for a refund. Diode Dynamics is a great company and their customer service is above awesome. I did my interiors lights as well in the bright white bulbs, but swap them out for non DD red lights when on the drag strip, it allows me to record in car footage without being blinded by the lights. Not sure if you noticed, I'm a car fan, challenger fanatic, you're not wasting my time. and if for some reason I don't respond it's because of KZbin's comment notification design. I do this stuff because I enjoy interacting with people who share my interests, thank you for taking the time out of your day as well!

i think the tazer line lock feature may have damaged my ABS system. line lock doesn't work anymore. just pushes the car forward. even when i dont use line lock and just stand on the brake, it still pushes the car forward and doesnt do much of a burnout. used to work fantastic. it stopped working properly when i was at the drag strip in the burnout box.
@WorkPlayDrive
@WorkPlayDrive 5 жыл бұрын
It’s a function baked into the car. Not sure if it’s damaged. Have you had your brake system checked. I’d start with the pads then maybe check the fluids and for air in the system. Is the pedal mushy?

@WorkPlayDrive
@WorkPlayDrive 7 жыл бұрын
I have not done the CDV delete yet. The clutch delay give you a consistent release of the clutch. For now I'm keeping in and will look into options that are settable to allow for clutch delay in first gear launch only
@transam6t9
@transam6t9 7 жыл бұрын
is there a downside in deleting the CDV, thanks
@WorkPlayDrive
@WorkPlayDrive 7 жыл бұрын
The CDV regulates the release of the clutch and slows it down for a more consistent engagement . The purpose of it is to allow some slippage of the clutch to not shock the drive train, it would for example soften the blow should you side step the clutch. Some people want it gone because they are incredibly awesome at racing and want to control their own clutch engagement, others want it gone because it makes for a better daily driving experience. Many, many people have done it without issue, if you are not dumping the clutch every time you take off there should be minimal impact to your drive train if you remove it. A lot of people state that there is a night and day difference to their driving experience once removed. Funny thing to note on my challenger with the stock 245 eagle F1s I probably don't need the CDV because the tires beak free so easily there is not risk to shock LOL :) Here is a bit more info on the subject. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clutch_delay_valve I'm going to hang on to my CDV for a while, I feel it's going to help me provide a more consistent launch at the strip when I get my new tires on and prevent me from totally blowing the tires off should I release the clutch too quickly. Hope that helps in making your decision.

In one of your other videos you indicated you could map the TaZer line-lock function to one of the aux buttons. Would you still need to hold down the left arrow button until you're ready to release the front brakes? I'm not clear on what the correct sequence would be. Thanks Work Play Drive :)

Ah I see. Can you do a video on how to use it? I've never tried it and I'm honestly afraid of messing up and screwing up my tires. Mine came with the goodyear all season sports tires. Are the stock tires good for burnouts?
@WorkPlayDrive
@WorkPlayDrive 7 жыл бұрын
Sure, once I find a safe spot or my next visit to the strip. The stock tires, I have the Good Year Eagle F1 all season and they break free easily. In my first drag strip video I used launch control in the first clip. Even the announcer commend on my 1/8th mile burnout. The tires are pretty resilient, I've done a few short burnouts on each of my 10 runs at the strip and the one in this video was done on the factory tires, I have 16,000 miles on them and I still have plenty of tread left. As you can see from the video they were very good for burnouts :) but if you're racing only a 3 - 4 second burnout is necessary.
@shawnsms29

That's amazing! I think those are the same factory tires mine came with. I'm really glad to hear it. My old car came with crappy tires. I'll be sure to look out for that video when you post on how to use launch control. Thanks for always answering my beginner questions haha
