One of the reason's whenever I shoot a feral ghoul I feel sorry for them because of him. Yes they jump at you and bite you but remember "they used to be humans"

I think it's different with feral ghouls. A normal ghoul is easier to feel sympathy for, because they still retain their humanity. A feral ghoul is a whole other beast. Not even a semblance of humanity left. At that point you're doing a favor by taking them out and potentially saving lives as well.

Honestly, i wish they have this kind of bull... i mean side quest in Fallout 2nd season.
