9:06 he reminds me of the ol school brothers in the states back in the 70s & 80s when they were building new addon construction. Reminds me of my uncles': "ya see here young blood, we gon' run the plumbing thru this wall here once they get the permit approved." for the roof why dont you do a modern roof like a flat roof where you can also get to relax and roast some stkes up there

Good flat roofing can last a good 50 years. That's the type thats done with cement and mineral rolls. Hot asphault is torched when layed down. They typically layer ½ across one another going up away from the bottom of the slope. But maybe they don't have all the materials. I'd rather not do it if there's no guarantee there won't be pending etc. Gable roof is the easiest roof to maintain in the states
