This form of off-grid modern farming holds great promise for Africa, considering the abundant youth population and the increasing accessibility of knowledge through various platforms such as text, video, and the expanding internet. It is crucial to advocate for successful off-grid farming in rural areas, as well as encourage urban backyard gardening and city greening initiatives using multipurpose edible trees. What an awesome achievement! Congratulations! 👏 ❤ Growing up in the Cook Islands, a country in the South Pacific, people thought it was impossible to grow apples there too due to the hot climate, but my grandmother (an English horticulturalist) grew apples on the island of Mangaia and people were shocked! And I found, it tasted sweeter and crunchier compared to the apples here in NZ lol.
