Because if she is part of the lgbtq community she's herself is hiding behind her daughter and her mother's tabloid friends and paid for articles. SHE herself should be empathetic and understanding as she herself is living a double life yet she's not 'owned' by a label or management company like zayn is, and she can freely date and sleep around with and fall in love with whomever without repercussions to her career (she only has to answer to Yolanda for public relations but seems to be free to secretly date in private). She's so wealthy and elite and never had to work but really work outside of her nepotism circles...and she never will ... so no...she'll never understand or treat Zsyn in a humane way.
