I’ve never watched Zach interviews, but this was so beautiful. You could tell zayn was so touched that his message was understood by someone. Zayn is so critiqued and you can tell he’s nervous that he’ll be misunderstood, because the public has for so long. You can tell zayn would get so happy when Zach would express his understanding of the lyric. Zayn has grown so much as an artist and human being. It’s been so beautiful to watch. I’m so proud. I truly believe he continues to learn from his mistakes and is a good person. All the boys did. Their One direction era had so many beautiful moments, but also some extremely hard ones that meant they had to do a lot of healing. I am devastated that Liam struggled. Made some terrible choices. Drugs caused so much damage to that sweet boy we first met. I’m still so proud cause I know he did try.. they all are.
@valeskacanas9187Ай бұрын
I'm glad you said "all the boys did" people usually lay the blame Squarely Zayn. But ZAYN'S feelings were valid back then. Feelings aren't always logical and we don't always respond in a perfect logical way. I truly believe if ZAYN hadn't taken action back then, if he hadn't left the band...he may not be alive today. I know it sounds dramatic but when you're stuck in that mental health quicksand it's difficult to get out.
@Leslieh213816 күн бұрын
@@valeskacanas9187 I agree. Thoughts can be so overwhelming and that brings people to terrible logic. I think people forget that they were children! Growing up the way they did comes with trauma. Different than most, but trauma nonetheless.

@@SusanLaskowski-kb8pgwell zayn has never been one to stay in this pretentious industry and to sell his soul to be a media darling by doing trivial,idealised and pr things to feed money for the big media industries and shoving themselves into our faces with random fake narratives. The more is revealed abt this industry (secret Grammys committees, EPSTEIN TRAFFICKING LIST, P. Diddy etc) the MORE my respect for zayn increases even more that he saw it for wht it is and chose to stay out of it. Even Yolanda first leaked gigi's pregnancy and sold her OWN granddaughter's face to the paps but Z is insistent to keep far away out of it. But you can literally see how much more comfortable he is in interviews and just how much more open he is compared to other ones from his past! He's working on his decades long anxiety and the conversations he's having are so mature and also correlating with my headspace it makes me wanna cry 😢. Z has hus own fan base that stays dedicated and loyal to him and listens to his music even with 0.01% content over years bc they genuinely do just love his music and his personality they would like but don't need/DEMAND content from him to stay a fan, some have been #1 on Z for 6-8 years and others are more newer fans like 3 years in zquad or sm even less. Zayn only utilises this industry to put out his music and artistic expression, and keep his ability/connections to collaborate with other personnels musically so he can release the best work in the vibe he wants to.And speaking of, Room Under The Stairs is zahns first album with his new label mercy records, so it needs cause some stir anyways. RUTS needs to be more successful and bring in more money than any other artist who's on Mercury's waiting list. Labels don't just keep artists who don't constantly bring in money and Z fans need to understand that maybe not reach #1 (maybe zayn himself dosnt want all that commotion,expectation,unnecessary judgement from ppl who know only the most surface value things as he jeeps saying he doesnt like to go to the commotion of this fake industry) RUTS need to be a big stir otherwise Z might lose his "voice"/ability to make music in the long-term. If u listen to his unofficial rap album from mid-2021 called Yellow Metal, which he just posted a link on X to for his fans who r still there, u will see how much he hates the industry and he talks passionately abt many causes there, police racism, lying politicians, environment, fake friends, temporary nature of this industry, airport racism and school racism in 90s, and UK,Palestine,his persona,the next/current generation etc he says "attentions seekers their span is weak" "my eyes are set to [the] summit and I see u bitc#es plummet" "they say they will never kill another unless that brothers skin is brown" "its f the feds till they stop killing coloured" "this industry's a cage" "my name ain't on the list unless it's "ethnic"" "you say my skins quite fair (or smth like that), take up my name in a flight and try to convince immigration that ur bloodlines half white" he tells his cousins to work hard he disses sm celebs he says he "heals ppl like a clinic" etcetc

It's so nice to see Zayn mature; he has a message many young people need to hear for their own happiness. A person doesn't have to have a kid to get there, but some do. (In fact, far too many adults don't mature despite becoming parents.) The ideas of perspective and how that ties to happiness and gratefulness for what comes your way regardless of how you label it. He's turned into a well-balanced grounded person.
@valeskacanas91874 ай бұрын
He's 31 years old he's definitely not 17 or 21 years old anymore so you'd hope people naturally mature, plus he is a dad so one would hope for maturity in responsibility and care for their child. I guess people say it's so nice to see Zayn mature...because he very nearly didn't get to grow old...so many kids in entertainment and music industry don't make it. Zayn nearly didn't make it out of 1D over worked, micro managed, ostracised, controlled, creatively stunted and held back, "mysterious" caricature attached to him forever, nobody listening to him, feeling like a prop or puppet, developing an eating disorder, depression, melancholy, getting crippinly anxiety...if he hadn't snapped to action taken the risk to leave then perhaps he would have remained young forever never making it past his early 20s. Then later because he left the band and because he was pro Palestine. The death threats the nasty racial name calling and vilification, the vitriol, the ostracation, the global hatred from 1D stans and the media, the constant smear and black balling, the deliberate blacklisting from music, entertainment, touring industries. Pretty heavy stuff to go through on ones own, at early to mid 20s, without protection from the industry sharks and draconian record label contracts such as syco, modest management and RCA Sony.

Suddenly it wasn’t about me..she brought out the softer side of me, and brings me great joy and happiness. In my early 20’s if you told me I’d be an avid gardener in my mid 30’s I would have laughed in your face. But it’s so peaceful to be out in nature, sun on your face, nurturing things you’ve grown yourself, and of course things are so much sweeter grown by your own hand. This was such a great interview.

When he was talking about Grateful and the band, im so proud of Zayn and he seems like he is in a great place mentally. WOW...my poor heart

I loved this interview from the first second till the last. Zach really focused on the questions to include the things and only the things that Zayn felt comfortable with to speak about. He let him speak and never interrupted his speech what is unfortunately kind of rare nowadays. And Zayn needed a lot of bravery to sit there and talk about his life, feelings and fears with no filter knowing how many people could watch him here. He looks so healthy and even though he is still that humble boy we all love from the bottom of our hearts, he changed a lot to the better.

Zach: thank you for being so professional and gentle with Zayn. You're doing an excellent job interviewing our King of High Notes. This is the best interview I have seen in a very long time.

Best interview I've witnessed in a (long) while....so personal, so integral and so very humane, like I've never wanted to know what an interviewer is gonna ask next more than this one, and i applaud you for that...very exceptionally done👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 beautiful all around 🎉🫂

This was one of the best interviews I've seen Zayn do. He is so relaxed and open to all the questions asked. His perspective on the path that has led him to where he is at this moment is so in tune with his attitude about life in general and prioritizing what is important to him. Zach did a great job making it feel like a conversation and not an interview when he took the time to let Zayn answer the question asked and not already into the next one in his (Zach's) mind. He waited and listened. ❤❤❤. Great job

Nah he got the best voice. However, he has no luck. He can never sell out. I don't know why people resent him
@valeskacanas91876 ай бұрын
@tenny1ful yeah zayn bosses are z^onists but i do believe he will not sell out, he will maintains his beliefs as per yellow metal Cathartic the rap he leaked. Whereas Niall and Harry would sell their souls to be at the top of industry. Harry's best friends James Corden and Ben Winston are directly involved in z^onist organisations and Niall is still under modest management since his x-factor, syco days

I think they all own every year. I hate the idea of comparing them. Like he said, they’re all their own person and they shouldn’t have to be competing - they all deserve to have their voice listened to and they all do what they can to get people to listen. It’s not all about industry for any of them. This comment is to everyone who replied too
@louqxa6 ай бұрын
@@ruekennedy3316 by no means was i trying to compare them, it just depends on how active each of them were that year. for example, while zayn is out doing tons of interviews and promo with his new album, harry is on a break. this should not be offensive, it’s just a standpoint from a fan who notices how some of them are more active one year vs others
