i feel like this album is very alternative r&b because of how non-mainstream it is, like u get those type of frank ocean vibes. And syd is on one song nd she used to be a part of Odd Future that frank ocean was also a part of . I think zayn is experimenting w the sound he listens to and prefers over his past mainstream hits. He doesnt care if it’s not as popular, thats what makes it special and stands out more.

i loved u’re reaction!! and the album’s so sickkk.. i think what he meant with tightrope was that he is walking on a tightrope but now he’s ready to fall, he’s lost his grip but his lover has his arm,, the urdu verse also translates to “are you the full moon or the sun, whatever you i swear to you, you are beyond compare” or something along those lines that’s why i really think it’s quite the contrary to a letting go or a closure song
