Reminds me a lot of EK65. The crazy maneuverability, edgework, hands and shot accuracy at the cost of some pretty weak play in the defensive end and sometimes forcing plays that aren't there which lead to turnovers. But, those things (and the forward skating) seem to be stuff that are coachable and I'm sure after being drafted and working with that team's development staff that he'll focus on improving them.

Great shot. Great skating. Great game sense. His defensive deficiencies can be ironed out. What he NEEDS is to get drafted to a really good development team that can help refine that part of the game *early* so he can learn to put it all together.

This guy is like a hybrid between Ray Bourque and Quinn Hughes... his stick handling is simple maybe compared to Hughes and Makar, but his IQ, vision, shooting accuracy... Ray Bourque had the smarts and the skill as well I'd say the difference is the temper... Ray was easy-going and likeable where Zayne is a bit chippy But he's my #2 this year behind Celebrini. Absolutely love his game and think he has the chance to be the best offensive defenseman in the league.

This kid is a mystery to me ? Does a team take a chance early on him or is he just a great Jr"A" player ? He seems to have a few concerns but are they things a team can work on with him ? In the end, right hand D are hard to come by so I'm thinking there's a team out there that will take a chance on him.

To me… His only weaknesses are : Not strong enough physically. and : a little soft sometimes. Both can be solved by : -working hard in the gym & -a little meeting shaking him & kicking his ass a little Very easily fixed

He could prove to be the best player in this draft or he won’t be able to lift his game to the next level. I love his game and he if he were to really improve his defensive play he could be one of the best defensemen in hockey. My team is picking in the top four and I’d love to see them choose him, but I’m scared if they do.

Thing is with talented players with good highlights in the juniors is that they can be misleading since his opposition at pro level will be 10 times harder. Nhl'ers dont get beaten that easy with fancy plays. The expression separating mens from the boys is relevant when talking about a chl player

Have you done one on Buium ? I was literally shocked how wasn’t in the top 10 first initial round of Hobey Baker nominees. Some 24 year old 6th year senior (Sam Morton, literally a 6th NCAA season) less than PPG player got nominated over a defenseman 17 years old 1/2 his freshman season. Who scored FIFTY points in the NCAAs as a freshman defenseman. What a joke. No one talked about Buiums age like they talked about Celebrinis age either. Very strange. Maybe the HB nominee committee are antisemites. It makes no sense.

Celebrini = hybrid of Jonathan Toews & Nathan MacKinnon Demidov = hybrid of Kaprisov & Datsyuk Parekh = Erik Karlsson So… To answer your question… Who’s the best out of that ? It would vary depending on who you ask. and it would probably also vary from one year to another

Parekh is The Real Deal. If the Habs get the 2nd OA pick with the lottery… even though I really like Demidov, I doubt the Habs would take him but I tell ya… if they’re not gonna take Demidov with the 2nd OA pick… I hope they take Parekh. He is Andrei Markov, with the edgework of Quinn Hughes, and the shot accuracy of Caufield.
@alexbarrette97626 ай бұрын
Every stanley cup winner has a defenseman like this, an elite quarterback . Defensive side of the game is weak but its fixable to a level that his offensive upside will more then compensate. If you match him with a stud defensively like Ghule, your in business . Ghule-Parehk Hutson-Reinbacher Xhekaj-Mailloux Now you got something. A well balanced and physical defense.

Im just imagining a pairing of Hutson and Parehk on the PP1 . Lethal.
