To those here who have not yet purchased this unit. As of late June 2023 mine came with a cable chain! Also a lot was also pre assembled. There is a video called energy cable installation from zbaitu.

Thanks alot for taking the time to explain in detail!! I have the exact same model (my first laser cnc) and you cleared a lot of doubts, especially with the loose belt. If you could also share some tips on using the software and maybe some tests, that would be very helpful.

Thank you very much for sharing, Roger! I am totally new to operating a laser engraver, still I took the plunge and bought the Zbaitu M81 laser engraver. I have not yet assembled it or anything but I would appreciate it if you would do a video showing how to install the drag chain...what length to buy and so forth. I really would appreciate your help 🙏

Would there be any way you could do a video on how you determine the power and speed. When you show your test engraves they look nice and I am learning this thing but I find the aforementioned the toughest part even with all the get ya started charts

Yeah, that would really help!. I bought this laser 3 months ago and havent really been able to use it because the instructions where not clear and its my first laser. This video really helped.

@@rogersshop Buena tarde nuevamente, ya me fije que tiene la de 40 X 80. pero ... mantengo mi duda, Yo veo que el cuadro del laser, debe medir como .... 7cm??? entonces segun Yo reduce el área de corte y grabado más o menos esos 7cm. o el bastidor viene un poco más amplio y entonces sí, realmente el área de trabajo es 80 X 40 ( en su caso) Yo quiero comprar la de 80 X 80, realmente estan buena como parece, Ud que ya ha usado otras podría orientarme por favor !!! NO consigo a alguien que me oriente sinceramente. Agradezco mucho su amable respuesta y si es posible contactarlo por otro medio, me ayudaría mucho. Saludos cordiales.

@@corsoligrupocorsoli2503 El problema que he encontrado es que el tramo de 80 cm en el eje X puede ser inestable con este tamano de extrusion y provoca algunos fracasos a velocidades mas altas. Disculpe la gramática! Haciendo mi espanol a la prueba! No en la practica. Hope I did not butcher that too much...............

Interesting review. This laser is in some ways similar to the Neje 3 Max with respect to size. Off topic; did I hear a sneaky vape drag? 😉

Could be. I also had a couple beers dealing with some of the difficulties I ran into. This took WAY longer than any other laser I have assembled. It works fine, but was somewhat of a hassle.

@@rogersshop Yeah understand what you had to overcome, but the size of it is great; to get a CO2 laser with a similar footprint would cost an arm and a leg.

The end stop on the X hits the wheel it's the wire in the bracket sticks out to far and hits and stops it from hitting the switch just move the wire over and it will work. You don't need any mods

Not true. :) Even without the wire in the bracket, not sticking out, it wont hit the wheel. The pin on the limitswitch is too short ;)

I have not pursued adding the drag chain and recently upgraded one of my xTool D1 lasers to extended frame. There are lots of options for a drag chain on Amazon, but you will need to do some designing of mounts. A few viewers have said that there is a kit available from Zbaitu direct.
