You really do KZbin airgun reviews proud. Sober, factual and no fluff. So many other channels would do well to study your work. Subbed even though I'm in the US and miss coverage and testing of the FAC features.

I had terrible trouble with my mk2 kozak, it had a regulator that was leaking and it sprayed pellets, the gun was returned to my rfd after the importers couldn’t help sort it out. These really are hit and miss as my rfd had quite a few going back but also one or two customers praised them, I guess you pay your money and take your chances

Hi Richard.Great review and another fab little rifle.they do look really well put together and as you said,with a bit of pellet testing the groups will tighten. Will you be selling rifles on your site by any chance in the future? Atvb 👍🏻

@@airgunextra well the last time I spoke to someone about it they said the list just kept getting bigger but that was a year ago.. I just assumed it would be easier to get hold of one as its been out for a while.. Its just proving how much of a popular little gun is it.. My next door neighbour was lucky enough to get one but had his name down for more than a year before he got one.. And wen it arrived he was very disappointed with it and sold it on said its not a patch on his fx impact.. Never the less I would love to own one..

@@byson8653 There is a Spanish website “EdgunLeshiy.Shop” that claims delivery to the UK within 3 weeks. However, after some research, I understand there is a UK outlet and the consensus among those that have used it is not highly regarded and also the imported sub 12ft/lbs are “allegedly” being held up by UK Border Force “allegedly” due to the ease of which they can “allegedly” be modified to higher power. No facts to back all this up, just what I’ve come across on t’interwebs!

Do you clean the barrel before shooting your airguns? I find new rifles have a protective coating on the rifling, and a pull through before shooting makes quite a difference in consistency and accuracy.
@airgunextra3 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed.

@@airgunextra Thanks. Some people don't but I find it makes a big difference once the rifling is Leaded in.

@@reevessairgunningreviews5572 I clean the barrels on new/test rifles, but only bother cleaning again when accuracy drops off. Some can go ages without a clean, others need cleaning more often. If find larger calibre FAC rifles need cleaning more than 12 ft lbs, but there's no golden rule. Thanks for watching.

With regard to the floating plastic trigger guard and Steve White’s spot on comment below, at least one other manufacturer I know using a floating trigger guard for this reason but it is in metal. This and that very slim strip at the bottom of the cut out of the stock put me off adding the Kozak or Cossack Bullpup to my Zbroia Hortitsia .22 carbine. Which was a shame. Instead I’m taking a chance with an Askelkon MX10 Bullpup Synthetic in .177.
@stephenspencer82242 жыл бұрын
Looked at Matt Manning’s excellent review of the original Zbroia Kozak on Airgun News. The stock and metal trigger guard secured a both ends with a screw were far superior to the revised model. Which meant I decided not to add Zbroia’s semi-bullpup to my very good Hortitsia carbine. Pity.
@simonrodgers71654 ай бұрын
Hello Richard. If pushed to choose, which of either the Zbroia Hortitsia or Kozak would you recommend as an allround ratting / rabbiting tool?
@simonrodgers71654 ай бұрын
Or is there something else in their price bracket that you would recommend over them?

Hi Simon. Both great rifles. I'd probably opt for the Hortitsia but only a personal choice.

Remixex are doing some great affordable rifles. I've been using the Pretensis regulated for a while and it's been very impressive. If you're budget can stretch a little further, the FX DRS is an excellent rifle.

@airgunextra3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that Nigel. Did you buy it brand new? If you bought from a gun shop brand new have you spoken to them about your issues? There's a few things that are worth checking - clean the barrel with a pull through (not felt pellets), make sure the screws and bolts are done up tight. And have you got some decent mounts? And are they done up properly? Have you put the rifle over a chronograph to see if it is consistent? And if you're using a silencer, have you tried taking it off to see if it is more accurate without?
@nigelbase11963 жыл бұрын
@@airgunextra done all the above my friend...it's really consistent... I'm getting my mate to crown and re lap the muzzle (something that transformed one of my other rifles)...the trigger I'm going to get "Ratworks" to sort and I'm pretty sure It'll come good as I really like the rifle 😉

Tiz a tasty piece of kit , not sure about the " ambidextrous - ness " of the stock , as a leftie ( I know , im moaning again ) I recon id punch myself in the eye every time I cocked it .. ( if I wanted to remain fixed on my target / quarry ) .. that said , I still like it .. probably more accurate in .177 .. probably get away not punching my eye out if it had a regular sized scope on come to think of it ... ( still p****d off with Zbrioa only doing the hortitsia in right hand though .. )
