I have a few videos planned out. Some are a lot more complicated than this. Might do a 3d printed texture roller tutorial next.

Thank you for sharing such a great video. It’s been super informative and helpful. I’m wondering if there is any ways to measure the exact thickness of the sculpture, rather than eyeballing with transparent mode on. Tried using extract and move brush but don’t know if that’s working.

Glad you liked it! Yes, there's a few ways to measure the thickness of your sculpt. One is eyeballing, but I do it with a a Boolean cube on subtractive/intersecting then sliding it along the sculpture but that's rough. The accurate and slower way is to cut a chunk(s) of the sculpture with several boolean cubes and then use the transpose line to measure from point to point, youll see the exact measurement in the top left corner. (provided you've set the scale up to begin with) We need a plugin for this!

Would you do a mould with an insertable? Say like a pair of gloves? So every pour would be perfectly even on the inside?
@3DMoldShop Жыл бұрын
Absoutely! That's one mold that took me a while to figure out digitally. I've started recording the tutorial, so it'll be the next one I release.

what kind of printer do you recommend for printing molds?
@3DMoldShopАй бұрын
Depends on your budget and build size, mold type. I got an Anycubic M5S recently and it's been pretty good. I just saw they've got a big sale on this: store.anycubic.com/products/photon-mono-x-6ks?variant=43305272443042 You can also print molds that require less detail on an FDM printer
