ZD Racing MX-07 Unlocking Its Full Potential

This video is about the 1/7 scale Zd Racing MX-07. I show a few modifications needed to allow the model to work better and a few tips on how to set it up.
*I found a mistake on the number of bearings… “correction: 8x16x5-Qty. 16” (not 14)

Runs awesome. I’ve changed the aluminum skid plates to HDPE…they need to flex with impacts. Video coming soon.

btw i have a question, i hope you can reply it. 1st, i have this models,,, but when i play it on last night, i lost the orange nut wheel. i buy some 17 nut, and cant use it because not compatible. can you tell me size nut for this model. i dont have idea for it. thank you.

Yes, unfortunately the thread size is different than others. I discovered that too. Very good video so much input. By any change do you know what is hub size for these ? as Im trying to use their tire on my xmaxx/outcast 8s

The MX-07 wheels are 17mm hex size….which I was worried about, being 22lb model. (They are still holding up). *To use these on an Xmaxx/outcast 8s…you would have to switch to the smaller hex, which goes against my better thinking…I wouldn’t recommend it)

Yes, that can fit. There is room for up to 95mm long motors.

Other than what I share in the videos uploaded…the main struggle you’re going to have is the rear wheelie bar and bulkhead. *You will need to fabricate your own solution for something that has more flexibility.

@@rcmadlabz2492 Thank you. I plan to buy spare tires, do you know any brands that have size similiar to factory tires? I searched everywhere, so far I only found 1 tires that similar in factory tire size, hobao mt tires. I don’t mind changing the hubs / hexes if the tire size are what I’m looking for
