we have a new rc car the zd racing pirates 3 truggy version 3 9021 1/8 scale
now it's the cheaper one of the 2 so today we are having a look and speed test

love the truck, i have the pirates 2 going on over 2 years now, the only thing i hate is those dang deans connections, they keep melting and burning out on me, replaced them twice now on a 8400mah 3s

Yer I have that one aswell I'm having issues atm with pirates 3 running on 4s it doesn't have the snap throttle thinking it's the dean's plug thinking about making the switch over to xt60 connection

@@brothersRC01 ya same, I am not very good at soldering might just pay someone local to do it all for me, got 4 batteries and my esc, now my 4s battery i ordered thats on its way. ya need a good soldering gun, I had one of those $20 walmart ones before but it was junk.

is it possible to just cut the wire like an inch or 2 down and attactch it via wire instead of connection if that makes sense? or is that a stupid idea.

I bought the zd racing on road car and it is a piece of shit. It was fun, until he axles and drive cups wore down so bad after like 3 or 4 batteries, that they broke and it won't drive now. Hope these have a better material for the dive line.

Honestly we have had no real issues with them yet they get used all the time running on 4s battery and all still holding up strong
