You are very welcome... think of it as tennis racket... rather then using joystick... select right mode and navigate your whole arm into a movement... you will get much better results. Joystick makes everything too crazy fast and hard to control.... it takes time and practice. Once you get it, you will realize that it is actually quite easy to do and you will have hard time going back to handheld....

Hi Zdenka. I'm totally new to photography and i'm loving the tutorials on smartpjhone video and making b-roll. Apologies if this is not the place to ask but can i ask 2 questions. I saw your video about hyperlapses and timelapses and also videos where you select slow motion recording, i see how you have to set various camera settings etc but can you not just speed up or slow down in the editing software afterwards ? And second question - i'm struggling to fully understand gimbal modes such as follow, and tilt locked, not so much what they do, but when you should use them. Is there a rule of thumb as to which you should choose in which situations ? Thank you again for the videos, I'v already learned a ton of stuff !

Thanx again for some great tips. Just started out doing this as a hobby. Can you tell me if it is a general issue when shooting slow motion and 64 and up. I find the first few and last few frames are still normal speed. It is as if the frame rate only kicks in after a few frames. Or am I doing something wrong. I keep forgetting to compensate for it and find some great shows ruined. Greetings from South Africa.

I had to come back and share this. So I'm watching a Hallmark Movie (Yes, even old soldiers can be romantics.) There was a recurring commercial for Amazon Prime Days. I got a big kick out of it because they used that flip transition a lot in the commercial. On top of that, the movie was about people filming a travel series and it showed the view through the camera. So naturally, I'm checking aperture and shutter speed settings, plus making sure the exposure indicator was actually showing a proper exposure. One setting was f5.6 and 1/60th. As I recall most TV shows are actually shot at 30fps. I guess with so many content creators on KZbin someone figured out they better have things right in the movie. The biggest kick though was seeing those rolling flip transitions you mentioned you like so much in this video being used so much in the Amazon commercial. I thought I was watching a ZD video. LOL.
