ZDX65 (mz65 clone) exhaust on Horizon super bike and test ride

The improvements in performance using the zdx65 exhaust over the fat belly is truly insane. gained 5+ mph just from this exhaust. New top speed of 37mph on 44t sprocket, bike was still gaining speed but vibrations were too much. Fuel tank came loose and started spraying gas on the exhaust pipe. This pipe don’t giving you more power you need Porting cylinder and add header’s flange if you like a real power but it’s not a bad exhaust havé nice ride man

Cylinder has been ported. Gained 5+ mph just from swapping exhausts. Much more torque at mid-high rpm

​@@VentureOnDeckLA Hover did a test video between stock pipe , $50 mz65 and the fatter pipe like yours. The mz65 had better acceleration but was 3 to 5 mph slower top speed.....The fat pipe had 3 to 5 mph more top speed but less acceleration. Which makes sense because a smaller ID ex port = more low end power at the expense of top speed lost & large ID ex port = more top speed/top end power but less bottom end.....The exhaust power valve on 2 stroke dirt bikes closes a bit during lower rpms then opens wide during full throttle. The 65 & 85cc 2 strokes have a large ID exhaust for such a small engine since the power valves closes it off during low & mid throttle.

I wonder how well a built bicycle engine would do on a mini bike..? Looks like it scoots you along fairly well. On mini bike gearing would be different etc...

That other pipe I just weld a old handle bar tube on the end 7 inches long and it works great because the stinger on the other pipe u have is to large in diameter.

I bought a 10in aluminum pipe to attach to the new pipe but haven't tried it yet. Been reluctant because the inner diameter is smaller

Nice video thanks. My bike averages 38 mph (40 max) with the smaller chrome pipe not sure if I’d see that big of a difference my engine is all stock (unported)

Stock engine hitting 40 is awesome! Mine stock had a lot more torque than my buddies bbr engine but my top speed was only 28. My top speed so far is 42 but have an air leak

Wear pants, not shorts and it's not a problem. Generally you don't even notice anything but the noise and always check the tightness of the bolts.

@@VentureOnDeck thanks, the reason I asked is I have a pipe very similar to yours i had purcases from from MZ Miami but can't mount to my 90's 19.5 " Trek mtb because the pipe hits the front tire and your pipe clears, Stay safe!
