been playing phase rush garen for a few weeks now, it's probably the most fun I've had on League in years. You can fake the engage on an enemy team multiple times, dodge everything and waste all their cooldowns, then you go in and do some damage, R whoever's low, stridebreaker and run away to the jungle. Then your movement speed is so insane that I've literally ran all the way around people who were chasing me in jg and attacked them from behind lol feels like they should make a skin called "crackhead garen" for this build because you'll be running around so fast and spinning and just causing total havoc unless they can chain-CC you. if you don't want to stack all zeals then also getting deadman's or FON helps with survivability. Depending on how the match is going you can also go hullbreaker (adds 5% ms) and with all your bonus movespeed when the enemy champs come to stop your push you can just bayblade tf away to another lane and repeat the same exact process faster than they can even rotate to you, so it's like 2 or 3 of their champs are just permanently assigned to stopping your push. In normals I like to meme it up and buy the nikes for a full movement speed build, it's bonkers how many times you'll escape from certain death just by pathing out of the fight. it's gotta be tilting to constantly see Garen zoom off at 1hp and regen his health and come back 20 seconds later for another fight. I love these phase rush garen builds

I love Zwag, but hearing him flame his team kind of sucks. He is a former challenger and at this point professional player. He groups with people with low ELO to provide content, but then gets upset when they make low ELO moves. He was in groups with that B1 sejuani, and stayed grouped for like 3 more games.

Well I think it's nothing to take personal, he knows that they're bad and that they therefore make mistakes but it's still frustrating. Plus it's not like he flames them for not pinging or losing laning phase but for mistakes like not using your ult or not auto attacking (as a fcking adc against a player with 10 hp) which are big mistakes even for bronze players 🤷🏻‍♂️

Back in the day when you could stack sunfires on rammus. You’d stack zeals on master yi. They gave AS,crit and MS. You’d run around the map like a methed out hamster. You could 1v1 anyone, nuke towers and if anyone came to contest. With the zeals and your ult you could run away faster than rammus could speed ball

Been watching your vids for a bit(even though I don't play lol) do you think we could get a theme week. I do love a good theme week. Maybe a week of the five lease played champions? 1:12 yeah i thought garen has always been the counter to riven?? i remember it as early as s2/3. when i branched out from only playing tryn n talon (plus having to farm entire new rune page + buying a rune page) miss those days. but switchin to lee sin jng was huge. playin riven top or jng was HUGE lost mainly to garen and mundo i think. and teemo was a pain. but its been so long i dont remember them all

Try full AP Shyvana in the mid lane. Run First Strike, free boots, minion dematerializer and Cosmic Insight. Secondary Page of Demolish and Second Wind with atk spd, adaptive force and armor/mr depending on the match up. Start with Doran Shield, get an early Hextech Alternator and build a Night Harvester into Sorc shoes, then try to build either Zhonya's or Rabadon's next, then the other, the priority of Zhonya's is if enemy team is heavy CC. Build situational AP items depending on how the game goes like Nashor's, Rylai's, Void Staff or Shadowflame. Take TP and Flash as summoner spells. You're not going to get many kills early unless they make a lot of mistakes, this is a pretty passive laning phase until Shy hits 6, it also depends on if your lane opponent is a ranged mage or a melee assassin. You'll be doing a lot of farming with your E, plus hitting an enemy champ with it will proc First Strike. Then dragon in, hit your E and collect money. Her lane pushing power once she gets 6 and an item or 2 should allow you to roam. Like Kayle, Shyvana will be a force to deal with in mid to late game with her core items.

theres an item that doesn't work on E i think its berserker grieves or maybe rageblade because it gives base attack speed instead of bonus attack speed and E only scales off bonus? is any of this true?

Berserker are the boots Garen builds 99% of the time because of how well it goes with E. Rageblade however doesn't work with Garen E. E scaling works in every source of Attack speed bar runes and temporary boosts of Attack speed (Phantom Dancer passive doesn't combine with E)
