He was a man & ID boy perfect Vampyre. His lust for the world unquenchable thirst for so many things, made his character, indelible as Demon ink. I love James M. Spike vs new principal. I get why principal doesn't like spike being that he killed his mum but given how much of a mamas boy spike was before and after becoming a vamp surely he'd understand the principles anger and want for revenge. That’s why Spike spared Robin Wood in the end. He told Buffy that he let Robin live, because he killed his Robin’s mother and understands the anger and hate Robin has towards him. Yeah, mommy issues are Spike‘s soft spot. Actually, in German dubbing the episode is called “Mütter und Söhne” (mothers and sons) and I find that title more fitting then the original.
