Thanks for your review, and just received the Micro2 Plus, one thing I notice is that if you change from motorized to manual, the cable is included inside the box.

Thanks for the video, Todd, very useful. Centrally mounted on a tripod and video head how much does the Micro2Plus tilt at the extremes, under nearly full load?

Although i am not interested in this equipment, i force myself to have a peek into your videos only because of your presentation skills and audio quality.👌👌 Anyways looking forward to your "in the field video" in oregon next month for coastline landscape photography. Can't wait

Hi, Great video. Question for you, what kind of head unit is that on 8:47 of your video?

I appreciate the video -- it would be super helpful if people would include the original audio when using the slider. It seems like every review is trying to hide the noise level of this slider. Can it be used for interviews? Or will shotgun mics pick up the noise from the motor? This is a key use case for any slider, not just shooting b-roll where the audio gets slashed.

Thanks for clearing up re: timelapse. I’m looking for the lightest system for timelapse (I currently have iFootage nano) and micro 2 plus is not for timelapse.

Hi! Thank you for the review. I'm new to sliders because I'm a photographer but saw someone use the Micro 2 for focus stacking using the timelapse feature on the app. He was a Canon user but I'm a Nikon DSLR user. I'm trying to understand if the Micro 2 Plus would work with my DSLR and take the photos automatically?
@dominey3 жыл бұрын
I think I saw the same video (Swedish product photographer, maybe?) Anyway, yes a DSLR should work fine. Just check to see what cable your camera needs. I used the Micro 2 with a Canon 5D Mark IV for Timelapse and it worked.

A 450 dollar slider that doesn't paralax and doesn't come with a ballhead or even a battery. This company has interested me but I backed the vector gear instead. Got it at the intro price for 250. Its pans, charges internally and comes with a ballhead. I feel like a slider has to paralax to really be fully useful and this whole package is a bit of a ripoff

Hi Todd! thanks for this lovely review! one question: I own the Micro2 motorised, one criticism is that the motor travelling is too slow, even on the 3rd speed level, does the new motor on the "plus" allows for faster travel speed? Take care !

I recently bought this slider based on your review. I have figured out how everything works for Videos which is great, but for time-lapse photography for my Canon 5DS, most of the features on the app is set to trigger from App to Camera, but not the other way around. That means, for changing light conditions, I would have to pause the slider from the app to make adjustment to the camera settings, and it would reset the slider position. That sucks..While, yes you can create Time-lapse with the app, but there are limitations. There's no interval ramping on the app. The only solution is to use "Camera Mode" where the camera controls the increment of the slider per shot, but I can't seem to get this mode to work and there are no instructions or video tutorials on it. I tried to get this to work with LRTimelapse pro trigger + camera but no success either. Would love to hear from others who can figure this out.

use qdslr dashboard via wifi to change to interval ramp or use zeapon own trigger

Ok so how do you remove the motor?
@dominey2 жыл бұрын
You unscrew the track from the center mount then remove the motor from the end of the rail. I’m sure there’s probably a video on Zeapon’s KZbin channel demonstrating it.

Hey Todd, just wanted to mention that this video did not show up in my subscription box. Looks like KZbin is up to the usual shenanigans.

I wish those feet offered more degrees of leveling. This slider isn't good for using in outdoor/nature situations because you cannot level it very much on uneven ground. And if shooting in a field/yard, you can't rise the carriage above the grass. Not sure why these slider companies continue to create these tiny, useless legs with barely any adjustability at all. It's like they only design these for usage on a tabletop and that's it. I'm still waiting for the perfect nature slider that has tall, adjustable legs that can get the slider up off the ground.
