Zebco 202 combo field test...only $15.99!

Swing by Ollie`s and picked up the Zebco 202 combo for $15.99 .
They also had Net Bait soft plastics for $1.99. Grabbed some of those too. Figured it would be cool to test out an old school spincast rig at a local pond.
Turned out to be a fun little session. Basically for under 20 bux you can get yo arse out on the water and catch those lunkers!
Overall I really liked fishing with it, It totally brought back memories of my childhood when my dad would send me out with a Zebco, a bobber, a hook and a piece of wonder bread to mash dough balls on the hook and catch bluegills for hours.

Precious memories of my step dad picking out my first rod and reel from Kmart when I was maybe 9 years old. Great video and catches Doc ! Stay safe around those machine guns !

Nice video Doc. I grew up using zebco. I actually bought 2 when I started my channel. Rods still good, but the spin reel only survived. You had some nice catches!!

I think almost everyone started out with a Debit 202. I imagine they are made a little better now compared to 48 yrs ago. They still make that sift growling sound when you reel it. Good catches. Nice video

@@DrDitchpickle yah that’s awesome man. Those are The rod and reels that started most peoples fishing addiction right there. Mine was light tan colored. I was 2 and had it until I was 4. I upgraded to a snoopy pole. Lol. Good times for sure. 🤙🏼
