I see these "eco-friendly" pens a lot nowadays. However, I'm not really impressed. I wish companies would just replace the standard models and refills with the biodegradable ones.

The black cap is most likely to indicate what color ink is in your pen. Then they would use different color caps for different ink colors

Sure but with clear body you can tell the ink color anyway right?

@@unsharpen Depends on how obvious the ink color is in the milky translucent cartridge. You can easily compare multiple colors yourself. To me, it's not immediately obvious compared to the cap color. Especially in the translucent blue body. But the cap makes it extra obvious when in a pen cup and in various lighting conditions.

I love the Sarasa Clip body but it's so much better with Energel or S-Gel refills. I'd be interested in using these as donor bodies if not for the colored button.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been trying to remove some fluff and noise but probably went overboard!
