so glad they are doing a storyline about epilepsy with Liv. I had a friend who developed epilepsy in his teen years after having a stroke at 14 and he was put on medication to control it. sadly he dies last year age 23 after having a seizure in the shower and falling and hitting his head. I know Emmerdale will have done a lot of research about this because they always do with stuff like this and Isabel who plays Liv is an amazing young actress and we know she will play this well. Michael would be proud.

I have got epilepsy, I started having seizures one when I was 14 and then properly started having seizures when I was 15 and I’m now 24 still have really bad seizures I’m glad they are doing a storyline about this hopefully they will gone in-depth about it and showing live with her having a long term condition with injuries etc . Showing the ins and outs . Because this is not really expressed much in many storylines.

This dude is doing a really bad job at keeping her safe. No 1. Rule of dealing with someone who is having a seizure is to LET them seize. Protect them from their surroundings but DO NOT lean on top of them. If this was real she would probably die😢

Glad to see that seizures Fits are not considered as uncureable neurological problem. I don't have any neurological problem. But onces I have non epileptic seizure FITS occurred . When I was in my husband's home 🏡 writing & studying in midnight at 12 :00 A.m wearing tight top and bottom in excess hot .. without sleeps . While writing I feels black out and cannot do anything. My head goes backwards and eye's sees different colours. Then eyes Rolls upwards 🙄😵 . From chair I shakes like a startile and collapses down on floor. hearing the sound of my falling my hus wake up and saw me seizing. Then he just put pillow under my head . & He undress by opening my shirt ...& Exposed my breast and Deep inne Navel. only bra & bottom were not loosed Smooths me from neck to navel . My hair was scattered while shakes . He moved the hair and turn me to side . And hold my hand . But hand is shaking and muscles also shakes . Also checks my breathing level . Its normal & takes me to hospital there they check my pressure. That's becomes too low ... As they gives me a drip that regains myself soon . I don't remember what's happened to me .... My hus answered yur eye's rolls upwards repatedly 🙄 yu becomes blank and unconscious . I was admitted in hospital for 2 days . They checked me . No neurological problem.

@eilrahc1015 жыл бұрын
Laura-Ann Bence It was just a one off seizure. Known as an idiopathic seizure. They do mention possible epilepsy later in the episode but because she has only had the one seizure so far it is unlikely to be the cause. Still good awareness and well acted on her part, not so much on those around her who crowded her and why Paddy was holding her head I’ll never know! 🤦♀️
