I was originally not 100% on-board with the over all theme of the song, as I saw it as a way of saying "life is hard, and you keep failing, so just give up." But I think I was missing the element of being a "fuckup" simply meaning " someone who doesn't follow the path that society accepts to be the norm." In that light, I can see the song being a cry for one to make their own path in life, and not try to adhere to the path-well-traveled that society puts forward. All that aside, good song, loved the lyrics. Particularly enjoy "I close both eyes to aim."
