Pretty much the reason why Justin left, they wanted the heavy rap-metal sound, and he wanted to keep a fun pop-punk/ funk sound. The metal was selling more, so he got forced out. Sad, because he absolutely killed it when he was active

Saw zebrahead in Dec 2019 in Amsterdam with sum 41. Didn’t know them yet. Dare I say it.. yes I am. They were so much better then sum 41. I immediately loved them.
