I have two of these. I also have two SC600w MK IV, and two SC5w MK II. Totally love Zebralight. It pretty much ended my flashlight collecting. You won't need any other flashlight once you get a Zebralight, They are worth the money.

Totally agree with you 👍 Zebralight all the way! 1 0 0 0 percent ! But personally for me there is another very VERY favorite model flashlight, that I can only highly recommend: This is Fenix TK15 UE ❗ Amazing build quality,A LOT of light,highly durable and of course waterproof,325 meters reach and I did some tests outside with my Fenix.312 meters without any problem 😉👍 And now the price is below 75€/$

I am a zebralight fan. But I bought the sofirn C8g and now sofirn are my favorites. But as for my headlamp the mkiv is a beast.

My favorite headlamp is Armytek Elf C1. Although I have never tried the MKIV. I have 3 of the Elf's that's how much I like it.

I have a few Zebralights. They're well built and compact, but one thing I didn't like was it doesn't remember the last setting you were on when turning off the light. It always comes back to high-low setting when turning it on. The button is big and solid, but pulling it out of your pocket you might have to hunt for the button a bit.

That's why it has shortcuts from off. You can even setup whatever mode you want on a single click with group 6 or group 7.

Great light. However, as far as EDC gos, the SC64w HI makes a much, much better light for that role just due to sheer compactness. It gets lost in the pocket very easily. Less than 4 inch long and only weighs 41 GRAMS... (without 18650 cell, but still thats so good). Idk, i feel like Zebra hit it right on the head with the sc64 series as far as a very efficient, bright, versatile/functional EDC with EXCELLENT (best in class per size) runtimes gos, its just near perfect. And has been for a few years straight now, to the point that id almost feel ironical and missing out if i were to edc a zebralight that ISN'T the sc64 series.. just my 3¢..

I used to think that too until I got my first “large” light which was the Thrunite TC20. Because of the size, it was able to thermally dissipate heat much better and hold a high output for over 2 hours. Sometimes you need about 1000 lumens for a long time and you can’t do that with a typical 18650 light. Not to mention that a 21700 or 26650 has twice the capacity.

I can't seem to find the runtimes for the higher brghtness settings. I have one of their older headlamp lights, and am leaning towards one of their big handhelds for nighttime tracking. Any idea on runtimes?

I am sorry I can't help you on that. I never do run time tests. I have personally never had any runtime issues in recent years with any of my lights other than smaller edc pocket lights using batteries like 16340. The 21700 has performed very well in every light I have.

After buying a zebralight 6 years ago I'll never get a flashlight that's not zebralight ever again. Tough I do have a noctigon M43 just for raw power and battery time, but that one is pretty much a brother to zebralight in quality and interface.
