Excellent talk by Paul G. I have done my testing work based on learning what is in log files to show sequence of things that then provides valuable inspiration for further test development. This is invaluable to discover things that were designed to happen and things that were unexpected. I have found very difficult intermittent bugs in applications that many testers imply never found in their testing. Logging of execution of test scripts or even developed software applications is critical because it provides valueable information to testerrs and developers.
