0:23 - lights pointed and flashing at crowd 0:37 - lights “flying” out 3:58 - lights “flailing” consecutively 5:25 - general light pattern, red / blue color for entire room 6:00 - wash out effect 6:05 - blue lights flash / fade pattern 7:00 - all the lights color / positioning for a break (dropout) in a song 7:45 - blue lights / magic blades in upper part of room (would be good to use for a buildup effect) 8:22 - moving heads appearing to “climb” the walls 8:52 - lights creating an enclosed, moving circle in the crowd 9:06 - enclosed circle slowly flying out 10:17 - lights in circle pattern strobing with lights to the left and right strobing in a complementary pattern 10:30 - lights in circle pattern tilting, with lights in the background / wall shining on crowd 11:55-12:30 - “blackout” effect signaling an energy change to the crowd, leading in to lights gently moving in a calm pattern 14:00 - entire room strobing on and off 14:25: - the strobe effect of the lights complimenting one another 14:29: - really cool washout / spiral effect with the moving heads 14:38-15:00 - transition between colors works very well 16:10 - fill before the drop with the lights flashing once 16:19 - interesting strobe pattern with the majority of the lights 19:11 - lights flashing purple for short fill during song 22:03 - general colors of the moving heads’ strobe effect complimented by the side-wall lights 23:05 - color pattern of all the lights- very intense and could be used for a big drop 25:55 - color pattern cycle (for entire room) works well, more of a “fun” vibe 27:12 - syncopation of the strobing effect for the entire room - ideal for a big drop 28:34 - entire buildup works well, specifically the lights flashing around the ceiling 30:02 - washout effect with slight strobe, mainly moving heads 30:15-31:15 general color selection, movement pattern for entire room would work well for signaling an energy change / break

I must be getting old, I remember when people went raving to actually rave, instead of standing on the dance floor holding your phone in the air.

I remember when people actually danced to actual songs, and the show was not all about facing the DJ and taking pictures of the lights. In fact, it was considered very low-class to take pictures in a bar or nightclub, and no decent club would even permit someone to take photographs of their customers.

I saw Zedd at Omnia this past Saturday Feb 29th, and I looked one of the few odd men out cause I was ACTUALLY dancing. I knew I could always go on Zedd's and Omnia's Instagram stories to download the footage that they took

I agree but in defence of the venue, it is hard not to take everything in and try to grab some memories. Worth noting, the whole place was jammed without much room to really dance anyway. I was there last September for a Calvin Harris show and the only thing I regret is not getting a table. I personally liked the Heart of Omnia spot and walked up to take in the CH when he went on. Once Vegas and the border opens back up, I will go back with a crew!

The best dance club ever, was without a doubt, Mannequins Dance Palace at Pleasure Island in Walt Disney World. It had the biggest revolving dance floor, three levels with multiple bars to serve you, numerous moving light trusses, multi million dollar light and sound system, lasers, strobes, huge light wall behind the elevated stage, and lots of fog! Sadly though, Mannequins is now gone, replaced by an Asian restaurant. Ugh!
