Zedd performs Clarity live with a 50-piece orchestra to celebrate his iconic Platinum debut album's 10-year anniversary. For the first time ever, Zedd is recreating the chart-topping 2012 album by performing it in it's entirety at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
This is the final of four celebratory shows for Clarity's 10-year anniversary.

good to see zedd perform, i knew he was classically trained but im surprised hes able to do this. not may other EDM producers are musically literate to be able to transpose their songs into classical sheet music and keep up with an orchestra.

It’s incredible how every track takes you to a different world just with the instruments and the composition. This the first time that I’ve heard the complete album as an orchestra and it’s simply amazing. And a wonderful way to celebrate the 10 anniversary of one of my favorite albums ever made.

For those complaining about the timing of the orchestra, if you watched the documentary you would know that they only got to rehearse with the full orchestra TWICE before the show started. It's honestly impressive but I wish they would take more time and plan better for the next show.

hello idombe, thank you for this livestream replay of one of the founding sons of electronic music. the disc jockeys generation kids have all gotten to the 50/50 in belief do we keep using electronic files for our music fun ears or remember that each play can only be 60 minutes of about 10 songs an LP (album). the fun part of his concert was that there was no clear break and the instrumental blended in - like we say 'on the floor'. the black piano with his suit is fun - from the camera was able to view how the cover was clear. as a piano follower, i forget what the three floor pedals and if the cover should go up meant... thank you for the stream. el-

I am a massive Zedd fan and the orchestra felt disconnected - like they aren't familiar with the style. Tempo seemed like a struggle, or the conductor is clueless, not sure. Individually it's clear the orchestra musicians are talented, but maybe they didnt practice too much. You could see Zedd playing to the conductor - the conductor should be playing to Zedd, as he is the star "soloist" so to speak

EXACTLY! Arrived and expected so much more. Tapped Clarity and Spectrum first and immediately turned off. This could have been so much better and bigger. Sounded sloppy. These peeps should be decades beyond the basics of the original songs. It was so stiff I guess bc most classical players are locked into 16ths and never experience groove and swing.

an interesting side effect: Electronic music transmuted into classical/orchestral arrangements ends up sounding like a video game soundtrack. Lost At Sea in particular sounds exactly like an early game Fire Emblem track, nice and percussive and plucky, perfect for a ragtag group of young soldiers to take to the battlefield.
