This is still my absolute favourite song ever! Beautifully simplistic arrangement and melody. The lyrics speak to me. It is so peaceful and yet full of emotions and pain. I totally agree, I'm a Malaysian Chinese and I really love her!! What a talent ....How I wish more Malays are liberal like her. She reminds me of how Malaysia was like in the 60/70's when hardly anyone was wearing the headscarf and when I had many good Malay friends!! ....and when my Chekgu Aziz invited all his chinese pupils to his house during Hari Raya and we ate all his rending daging because it was so delicious!!. It bring tears to my eyes to see how things has changed today in Malaysia when we the peaceful chinese are attacked constantly for being trouble makers. When do we really make any trouble??
