Manisha panda Indeed in Bollywood Preity look and aura somehow stood out among her peers. She was not the perfect actress but she had something that made her unique. Too bad she was cancelled in the industry after the JBJ flop and the industry dumped her when she was over 30. Before that I feel they never really tapped into her full potential when she was active and can't help feel something was missed and wasted with her career. Sure she had hits like KHNH VZ or DCH but she was never really taken seriously compared to the likes of Kajol, Ash or Rani even the Kapoor sisters. What a shame

@@hannathatsme9086 Sorry if I pick a too strong of a word but personally this is what I felt. I could see that by late 00's she was kinda snobbed upon. We have to keep in mind Preity has no family attachement in the industry (maybe she will be the only Zinta member of the family to have acted once in her lifetime) and she is no beauty pageant winner, not even a classical dancer. Preity Zinta whole pedigree in bollywood stood out (she became an actress per accident lol). I guess all of this played against her. Also she started focusing on her IPL business. At the end of the day she left gracefully. The media were talking shit about her as well (well they always do that).
