This channel has been really helpful. Honestly, anything I don't understand in ur channel, I usually don't bother checking it out cos I'll end up not getting it. I use all the spices and herbs mentioned but I still find it interesting for the ones who just found out in this video. Thanks a lot. Sincerely, Chef Gerald.😊

I have 2 electric coffee grinders: one for freshly ground coffee in the morning & the other is dedicated to spices. Freshly ground cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc are so much more flavorful than the pre-ground spices I usually buy.

This video is super helpful for someone like me that grew up in an environment with a heavy reliance on Bullion Cubes and little knowledge of spices, herbs and seasoning. The list is fantabulous and super awesome. It's so timely too 😀 However, you missed Coriander, Bay leaf, the herb called 'Curry leaf', scent leaf, and some local/native spices I also want know if it's safe or advisable to make use of the sachet Seasoning from Noodles to cook other dishes? Thank you in advance!
@ajike
@ajike 2 жыл бұрын
she mentioned coriander when she talked about fresh parsley and dill; and I think she probably substitutes scent leaf with basil. I definitely agree with the fact that we need to reduce our reliance on bullion cubes.

I leant a lot from this as usual. I have cinnamon sticks in my kitchen that I don't know what to use them for. I now know what to do with them. But sis you left out bay leaf,I think it adds a good aroma to our dishes and has health benefits too. I love your makeup, your hair and dress😊😊❤️❤️
