Simple yet tasty zeera aloo recipe made with everyday ingredients. A perfect potato meal to spice up your tastebuds.
Ingredients:
Oil 90ml
Half kg Potatoes (peeled and sliced)
1 Tsp Salt (namak)
1 and 1/2 Tsp Zeera (cumin seeds)
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder (laal mirch)
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder (haldi)
1 Tsp Coriander Powder (sookha dhania)
4-6 Green Chillies (sliced)
Method:
In a pan, add oil and heat it up then add 1 tsp salt and 1 and 1/2 tsp zeera, once they start crackling add potatoes and cook for 5-8 mins until lightly brown, then add green chilies and cook well. Once seems all cooked add turmeric powder, red chilli power, and dried coriander. Cook for another 2-3 mins and it is all done. Ready to be served with mint raita and paratha :)
