Wonderful Movie...broke me in tears.... that line "Hum orton k pas esi koi nishani nahi hoti na ap mardon ki tarah jis se pehchan skain k hum muslim hain ya non muslim"...deep lesson is "Betiyan sb ki sanjhi hoti hain", do respect to women of all religions.

I'm a literature student, I've this story "Toba Tek Singh" in my syllabus. I've watched this story twice earlier (by radio mirchi in RJ Sayema's voice). But whenever I hear/watch this story, feel the same pain of partition every time. My ancestors also migrated from West Punjab (Pakistan) during partition, I couldn't hear stories from them about partition but apparently, I feel heart-wrenching everytime while considering the time of partition. May Almighty bless both countries! 🌸✨ Tremendous job by the team/starcast of movie. 💐

My great grandfather migrated from Indian Punjab (Gordaspur) to Pind #288 Toba Tek Singh and I was born my father was born in Toba Tek Singh and I always say that I have roots from Toba Tek Singh and one of my friend once jokingly said that if you left Toba but Toba didn't left you and Toba Tek Singh cannot be drawn out of you even if you land on moon. I have read so many stories of Manto since my teen age and heard alot about toba tek singh.. when i watched this movie couldnt control my tears. It was very painful. The last seen was nothing but an earth quake…. So also the words “ kholdo” cut torn me.
