No cause I’m genuinely upset about the letter I’m such a big gannie shipper it used to be she liked him a lot and they were friends but then last year it came out in aesop’s letter that she was scared of him (because of the drugs she was given) which made it harder to ship them but I still did and now this..😭 I genuinely believe what happened was so out of character for both Aesop and Annie (I’m not gonna go inter-depth why but if anyone reading this wants me to then I will) also she literally used to like him netease always keeps rewriting the lore it’s annoying. I saw people say it’s in character because they’re from the 1800s but not everyone was racist back then, a real representation of a racism is how Vera, Edgar and Jose treated Patricia in their game. Sorry about the essay I needed to get that off my chest netease lore writers sleep with one eye open..😒

My guess is that it's the fact they put emphasis on how his accent was a reason for her being afraid in the original translation. Which I can kinda get to be honest? But it could just be very poorly worded. But I think what a lot of people have issues with is the way she handled the confrontation with him,,to me, it made absolutely NO rational sense even in the context of being under drugs. In general the characterization and motivation just seems kinda off to me there. I'm so sorry to you and all the other Gannie lovers out there this letter never happened and we can forget it existed :'D

From what I’ve heard Victor and Aesop locked Ganji in a dark room because he was having a manic episode and he was being aggressive, and Anne brought in a candle to deliberately trigger his episode which resulted in her setting the room on fire and gliding out the window(?).
