Zeiss LWZ.3, The Perfect All Round Documentary Zoom?

Seems like an excellent lens. Its competitor at a similar price point is the Fujinon 20-120. It would be interesting to see how they compare.

@@dimakop I was able to rent it for a Ritz-Carlton project last year. It and the CP.3 lenses are a superb combination.

Well first the Fuijinon is not in the same price range and costs 3000 more and has a fixed stop of 3.5 over the whole zoom range and is 4K optimized. From what I understood the LWZ is not?

Great video Bas! Thanks for investing time into shooting this vid. Close focus from 0.8m is it sometimes tricky to get the shot in tight spaces?

For doc work, I think the best focus throw is around 180 degrees. It’s more than a photo lens but less than a traditional cine lens. The only one that I know of is the Fujinon mk lenses.
